The big news yesterday (April 29, 2023) was that:
Jan Irvin exempts Amanita and Allegro from critique, when calling psychedelics “suggestogens” in 2014, and in Irvin’s 2022 book God’s Flesh when demonizing psilocybin. Irvin has been consistently much more favorable to Amanita than Psilocybin.
Irvin 2008:
Strong advocacy of Amanita & Allegro.
Tepid support for psilocybin; it’s treated as a mere supporting cast for the big star, Amanita, the holy mushroom.
Irvin 2014 & 2022:
Silent about Amanita & Allegro.
Demonizes psilocybin.
Irvin has never subjected either one to critique (other than precisely identifying the scholarly source for any technical errors in SMC). Amanita & Allegro are somehow exempted from Irvin’s critique.
In Irvin’s 2022 book God’s Flesh, Irvin criticizes Wasson for trying to harm Christianity by equating psilocybin with the Eucharist and the Word (Logos).
Irvin’s can-do-no-wrong hero Allegro was more clearly and obviously trying to harm and discredit Christianity.
Irvin (2008, 2014, 2022) is, in effect, trying to equate Amanita with Eucharist and Logos, while disrespecting psilocybin (2008) and demonizing psilocybin (2014, 2022).

You’re supposed to reconcile the two guys’ semi-contradictory foot heights and hand heights.
Solution:
Hanging from right knee causes left knee to dangle closer to the ground, so Red’s left hand should be closer to ground than right hand (following knees rather than feet, which aren’t used to keep from falling).
Physics dictates Red’s feet height relative to knees; the resulting foot height contradict Red’s knee relative height: right knee is further from ground than left knee, yet right foot is closer to ground than left foot, due to geometry/physics of knees relative to feet, unlike when standing — or when sitting balancing in tree.
