I have just printed out two articles pdfs from Samorini: the one about Plaincourault and the one about Mushroom Trees in christian art.
They are extremely dense PDFs, very hard to read and meditate on, because they are just awkward to work with, like microfiche.
After I did about 75% of the work to make a readable webpage, December 20, 2020, of Samorini’s article on Christian Art Mushroom Trees, I was so worn out, I only did a little bit of reading and commentary of that result.
and I didn’t even comprehend some important things because I never really read my webpage that I made.
And I would not have read my webpage, because it was not ready to read, because I had not finished doing the basic formatting to produce a readable version of Samorini’s article.
His articles’ formatting is very far from being readable.
So it is no wonder, when people discuss Samorini’s article, their discussion is very limited, because the article is formatted in a very unreadable way, with no headings, no Contents, gigantic paragraphs, no white space at all, distracting Italian on the left column, very tiny font, etc.
He is even missing- he forgot to add the Bibliography entry for Clark Heinrich’s book strange fruit (1994)!
