Jesus: Neither God Nor Man:
The Case for a Mythical Jesus

june 5, pm note:

fwiw, ep153 parts a-c have lots of entheogen scholarship instead of ahistoricity 🥺 – great progress, solid commentary analysis (improved, useful, clarified critiques) fwiw. remainder has (will contain) mostly Doherty book readings im sure, parts d-i def ghi.

parts a & b & c all are 50% my usual devmt / restatements about entheogen scholarship, vialgate ramifs, Ruck school as functionally pushing the Minimal (not Moderate) entheogen theory of religion.

Earl Doherty’s website equivalent of the Jesus Puzzle book, has summaries & articles:
http://www.jesuspuzzle.com/jesuspuzzle/index.htm

About the 2nd Edition of his book, and about entheogen scholarship, the first 3 of my .mp3 file voice recordings out of ~10 are available to download, from Idea Development page 13. The remaining ~7 .mp3 files are close to ready for exporting/uploading, as of Noon June 5, 2022.

Section in page: Egodeath Mystery Show Episode 153 – Unsystematic Theology (Earl Doherty book Neither God Nor Man) – June 5, 2022 (first 3 .mps’s are available)

In this set of recordings, I discuss Earl Doherty’s (2005 &) 2009 book about Paul’s complete and self-sufficient high Christ shutting out Mr. Historical Jesus.

Episode 153 part a = Ep153a Unsystematic Theology – the 2nd half of this mp3 file is entheogen scholarship (Spot the Secret 🍄 Alchemy) critique.

Doherty tells us what Mr. Historical Authentic Paul actually conceptualized about Christ that has no place for Mr. Mundane Jesus.

Update, 9 a.m. June 5 2022

Parts 1 & 3 (a & c) of my mp3s have more entheogen scholarship than realized.

like with my recent feb-may 2022 art analysis, this recording commentary from 7 days ago feels already outdated! superseded.

I’ve made such rapidly significant development the past few days of idea development, these recent statements have already been surpassed. eg my analysis of John Rush 2nd edition book’s blurb of February 22, 2022 – my commentary in part c mp3 is BEFORE my Idea Development page 13‘s color highlighting analysis which PROVED 2 things:

1) John Rush has grotesquely lopsided emphasis of Amanita single-plant fallacy at the direct expense of Psilocybin.

2) John Rush has grotesquely lopsided emphasis of early pre-Church Christian sects at the direct expense of any true narrative (per Brown) of the heavy PRESENCE Psilocybin (and Amanita) mushrooms WITHIN the mainstream Church in the middle ages.

My vocal discussion here is the direct source that blossomed into my color highlighting PROOF at my Idea Development page 13 the following day. so this recording part C demonstrates successful breakthrough idea development.

Ep153c Unsystematic Theology – Per parts a & c of Episode 153, so far Episode 153 seems solidly 50% about leading edge entheogen scholarship critique and leading edge field development, in addition to Jesus Myth Theory (Ahistoricity) per Earl Doherty’s spiritual-Christ replacement for / shutout of historical gospel lifestory Jesus.

Allegro’s theory in Sacred Mushroom book is that Christianity started from The Mushroom rather than was started by Mr. Historical Jesus.

Most Importantly, What Does Thomas Hatsis Say About Doherty’s Historical Research?

We need the verdict from a Real Historian:

What does Thomas Hatsis say about Earl Doherty’s historical research, since Hatsis has become the #1 follower of John Allegro now that Jan Irvin has exited this field of research?

Surely the great, exemplary historian Hatsis must have an opinion on this central Allegro-related question & field.

Brown disagrees with Allegro re: ahistoricity, what does Brown’s rival Hatsis say on this matter?
