Penrose does not want to bring airy fairy quantum mechanics (read “possibilism”) into general relativity (read “block universe”), rather, he wants to repair the flaw in quantum mechanics to make it comply with general relativity.

The illusion of possibilism needs to be explained and modeled properly by theory to bring it into conformity with the revealed underlying situation hidden by the cloak the reality of non-branching eternalism.
We should not correct our broken flawed model of eternalism, in order to make it comply with possibilism, but the reverse.
