When the context of reception is so totally, absolutely biased against Psilocybin Eternalism, delivering a true theory – a true, simple, successful theory – is like trying to force-feed a baby who refuses to eat, and looks away to other, non-threatening theories that function to substitute and eliminate the one effective theory that threatens to undermine egoic freewill power.

A theory that’s too open, too greedily broad and diffuse, that focuses on the all-inclusive outer boundary perimeter (eg vaguely asserting “psychoactives” or “states of consciousness” or “entheogenic in the wide sense” or “transcendental freedom”) instead of tethering attention narrowly to the central focus (Psilocybin eternalism) is effectively no distinct theory at all, and is useless and unhelpful.
A theory must be narrow and specific and must pointedly exclude competing theories.
The Egodeath theory agrees with all points that other people assert (such as you must submit & surrender, in the hero’s journey), except that only the Egodeath theory has a successful coherent integrated arrangement.
All other writers’ treatment of myth and mysticism fail because they reduce the altered state no-free-will experiencing descriptions to freewill ordinary state, or at best like Ruck/ Irvin, freewill Amanita.
The Exoteric Esotericism approach commits the category error of saying myth describes things of the possibilism-premised ordinary state.
Only the Egodeath theory asserts and recognizes that myth describes experiencing in the psilocybin altered state no-free-will eternalism.
Myth describes how the mind is forced to switch to the no-free-will mental model when exposed temporarily to the altered state from Psilocybin.
Why there cannot be a specific theory of Amanita at this time
The proposal that I also co-emphasize Amanita, elevating it to the grand lofty level of Psilocybin – that is impossible, because I have no fcking idea, and nobody in the field of entheogen scholarship has any idea, what the effects of Amanita are.
The Egodeath theory is not and cannot be about Amanita, because – like everyone else – I have no idea the effects of Amanita.
The Wasson/ Allegro/ Ruck/ Irvin/ Rush Amanita Primacy axiom rests on pure conjecture and conflation, as if Amanita is known to have Psilocybin (classic psychedelic) effects, when in fact the only thing we know about Amanita is that it does not produce classic psychedelic effects.
None of these guys even tried Amanita, except Heinrich one or two times.
What I can do though and what I have done is to make a determinate, definite, specific axiom:
Amanita is the billboard for Psilocybin.
A coherent, defensible, specific theory results from that axiom.
It’s impossible for me to say that my theory is one of Amanita, because I have no idea whatsoever what the effects of Amanita are.
So it is out of the question to say the word ‘mushrooms’ so as to assert statements about Amanita – for which I have no evidence.
I only know about Psilocybin, and that’s what I know about, and I can make determinate, fully defensible statements there.
Psilocybin Eternalism
No other theory recognizes that myth is description of Psilocybin eternalism experiencing, so they all go barking up the completely wrong tree, the wrong state of consciousness; or they look to the wrong types of psychoactives, all premised in egoic freewill branching thinking, which is based in the ordinary state.
It is practically necessary to FORCE not avoiding and substituting for Psilocybin, and to force making people unable to avoid head-on direct grappling with no-free-will eternalism-thinking; non-branching block universe with dependent control and pre-existing control-thoughts.
If I don’t force people to look straight at this monster, that would guarantee that they will perpetually drag their feet and put it off and substitute some BS for this theory instead.
Everyone is constitutionally fervently committed to the ABD theory, the Anything But Drugs axiom, specifically and especially the Anything But Psilocybin a priori commitment, along with the Anything But Eternalism commitment (a priori commitment to propping up egoic “freedom” and “empowerment” and the open future); preserve at all costs naive possibilism-thinking; “I am a king steering in a tree into an open future”.
“Please give me enlightenment, but for God’s sake, do not take away my power of being a king steering in a tree into an open future.”
“Whatever enlightenment is, it cannot be that, but it has to be something that amplifies my egoic freedom empowerment power.”
The specific problem is to prevent that specific pair of a priori commitments.
There is an extremely, intensely biased context of reception.
A neutral framing of the theory will definitely instantly fail, and will certainly and definitely be substituted by something else, anything else, as a defensive avoidance/ substitution strategy: the Atman project; pretending to pursue enlightenment, by means which prevent Enlightenment – which is to say, by any strategy other than Psilocybin Eternalism.
If I don’t specifically and pointedly emphasize Psilocybin Eternalism, it is absolutely guaranteed that people will strategically substitute anything else other than that, because this – Psilocybin Eternalism – is the one thing that effectively threatens ego steering power.
There is a very all-dominant falsehood that’s ruining the entire field of entheogen scholarship right now: everybody is intensely committed to denying and covering up Psilocybin in Western Religion.
Eleusis Kykeon is abused for the purpose of people denying and suppressing and ignoring psilocybin sacred meals, and Psilocybin symposium banqueting parties, and ignoring (normally psilocybin) branching-message mushroom trees; denying and ignoring and suppressing and deleting Psilocybin from Christian history – and from Greek history too.
That’s another reason why it is strategically mandatory to vigorously and pointedly assert and press the issue specifically asserting Psilocybin, to prevent everybody from substituting, ignoring, and shutting out Psilocybin by replacing it by scopolamine and cannabis and Amanita and everything and anything other than psilocybin, in order to rob our history of the main, primary substance and put people in cages “because Christianity’s historical practice has no Psilocybin”.
Instead of permitting the vigorous, committed, active suppression of Psilocybin and of no-free-will, it is necessary to put forth a theory in a 100% vigorous assertive, point-blank, unavoidable tethering to the main point: Psilocybin Eternalism.

If not forced to confront specifically Psilocybin Eternalism, everyone will substitute the stupid Amanita or substitute the stupid cannabis (like mis-calling MDMA a “psychedelic”) or substitute some assumption of free will possibility thinking.
With Hanegraaff, they will broaden definitions, as an evasion tactic and avoidance strategy, to get rid of ego death by getting rid of Psilocybin by falsely dubbing non-drug meditation as “entheogenic in the wide sense”.
I am DONE with the excuses to substitute anything and everything except the thing that matters, which is psilocybin.
Stop evading, stop avoiding, stop changing the subject and replacing and substituting the real deal.
For the purpose of theory construction, there is only one substance that we need to talk about and that is all self-sufficient and fully adequate: Psilocybin.
No other single substance is fully adequate and self-sufficient to construct a successful explanatory theory of myth and ego transcendence.

For the purpose of theory construction, there is only one model of mental development in the Psilocybin state, and that is this three-phase model:
1. The ordinary state, which is the possibilism experiential mode, which produces naive possibilism-thinking.
2. The altered state from Psilocybin, which is the eternalism experiential mode, which produces eternalism-thinking. Eternalism-thinking includes and subsumes possibilism-thinking, as qualified possibilism-thinking.
3. The ordinary state, which is the possibilism experiential mode, now retaining/ remembering eternalism-thinking.

{weight on right leg} = eternalism-thinking.
{weight on no legs (or both legs), carrying limbless youth} = eternalism-thinking (which includes qualified possibilism-thinking).
All authors or theories will assume the ordinary state, or they will assume some garbled ordinary-state based conception of the altered state, unless I specifically force the point and force people to specifically weld their thinking and tie and tether their thinking specifically:
You can’t, you’re not permitted or allowed to substitute, avoid, or evade ego death: specifically focus on Psilocybin, specifically focus on no-free-will/ eternalism-thinking – because that’s specifically what you are intent on suppressing and replacing and substituting for.
That is the core strategy of ego delusion avoidance strategy, is specifically to steer away from Psilocybin Eternalism and replace it by anything at all other than that, because that is the one thing that’s actually a threat to egoic freedom power delusion.

Even Albert Hofmann’s weak book about spirituality was more articulate, and definitely is speaking about consciousness, but I can’t tell what Ruck’s book is talking about; it’s a bunch of vague poetry spew.
There is no altered state phenomenology in John Allegro’s book The sacred mushroom and the cross; it is all Amanita solely as fertility talisman, with no sense whatsoever of the visionary altered state, and myth as description of that experiencing domain.
This is not entheogen theory; this is retrograde, reject, dud failure academic theories, confabulations that came from the Anthropology department.
Martin Arnold’s book The Dragon: Fear and Power states that we cannot understand why the serpent dragon is the number one world mytheme.
The book tries to present an ordinary state based explanation that the dragon myth means fear in the ordinary state, and survival in the ordinary state from predators.
