This is a huge victory for me b/c yesterday I decided to OFFICIALLY CALL B.S. on the notion, the impressionistic narrative picture-painting prejudice, “No Psilocybin in Europe before 1976” spread by Letcher Hatsis though I don’t have quotes handy other than Hatsis’ infamous, zero-context nonsensical assertion (not a proper-formed statement that an [ideal] actual Historian would make):

Too bad Stamets’ lackadaisical writing, avoiding & steering around that topic in 1994 book, condoned that folk factoid misimpression.
I’ve scoured Stamets’ book 3 times: he is unable to think of & look at the topic.
You (the reader) have to do his work of cobbling together his implicit position statement, to guess & deduce (& debate what is) the Stamets position.
