Motivation for Creating this Tech Issues Page

Update: By using careful technique, I was able to complete the gallery:
Eadwine Images in Great Canterbury Psalter (Catalog Gallery)
https://egodeaththeory.wordpress.com/2023/06/07/eadwine-images-great-canterbury-psalter-catalog-gallery/

Looking forward to actually having opportunity to just focus on looking at the pics and “read”/ decode/ translate/ interpret them, instead of the labor of implementing the gallery.

Tech Issues

I lost hours of work. It’s not clear that the page can be restored and moved forward. It’s a corrupt page, stuck on “autosave”, not able to save changes.

Might need to re-implement, maximally streamlined (no old bloated .png crops, no commentary):

Eadwine Images in Great Canterbury Psalter (Catalog Gallery)
https://egodeaththeory.wordpress.com/2023/06/07/eadwine-images-great-canterbury-psalter-catalog-gallery/

Below are the recent images added to that page. Without the lost notes, commentary, analysis.

Analyzing any Motif in an Eadwine Image Requires Efficient Gallery of All Eadwine Images

To provide a sure reading of {mushrooms}, {branching}, {handedness}, and {stability} motifs in images f134, f145, and f177, it’s necessary to analyze all of the Eadwine images in Great Canterbury Psalter.

{balance scale} Motif

For example, there are 7 instances of {balance scale}.

{building, tower, gate, entryway, altar, throne/seat} Motif Variant Cluster

There are many instances of building, tower, entryway, altar, throne/seat.

Wishy-Washy Use of {handedness} Demands Flexibility and Rationalization

{handedness} orientation is used in highly variable ways, ranging from inconsistent, confusing, systematic (f134), symmetrical, exceptions, and poorly communicated.

Some motifs are exasperating and annoying, a confusing and unhelpful implementation that’s not satisfying.

Between lack of the motif, inversion of the motif, and standard use of the motif — within a given image — I want to yell at Eadwine, “make up your mind, be clear, be consistent” — ranging from sloppy inconsistency, to clever variants, the result is more a raging MESS than masterful.

These images are psilocybin experience puzzles. Some of Eadwine’s puzzles are poorly implemented and are more annoying than impressive.

An unwise number of variants and degrees of variant, Eadwine too often buries the signal in his noise, degenerating to failure to communicate.

If you learn the rules, in a flexible way, and the rules still can’t be applied to many of the images because Eadwine didn’t follow his own rules, it’s a mess.

There’s lots of signal — and tons of noise, that’s inelegant. Eadwine constantly is making up motif patterns and variants and experimenting with options inconsistently, as he goes along.

Image f134 is probably later than others, after Eadwine figured out advanced patterns and used them highly consistently. Be consistent and comprehensible.

Content Temporarily Moved from Gallery Page to Streamline It

Motivation for this post, design of this page

  • Motivation for this post, design of this page: Need optimal way to navigate through from blurry thumbnails in this page then click to see MEGA RESolution directly at the library. 🖼🍄🌳🔬🔍🧐
  • Issue: Server space limit. 🍄 TOO 🍄MANY MUSHROOMS! 🍄🍄 😵🍄
  • put 2023 jpgs here.
  • Scope: All of Eadwine’s images in Great Canterbury Psalter, not Illuminated Initials, No Text (and not Just the Mushroom-Including Pictures) – this page has no focus on (physical) mushroom imagery.
  • More interested in {branching} and {handedness} and {stability}.
  • The first of the four is the least interest: (mere {mushrooms}), {branching}, {handedness}, and {stability} motifs.

You Must Click into the Library Pictures – Details Such as Looking-Targets Are Major Motifs – Use the Gallery Page to Navigate.

Keywords differentiate the images.

The Gallery Web Page Is Blurry Thumbnails Only – Click to View the Real Library Full-Res Zoomable Image

CLICK TO 🖼🍄🌳🔬🔍🧐 eg it is impossible to see eye-pointing angles without full mega res zoom.

I used straightedge and magnifying lenses to prove the angle/ looking-target. or multiple potential targets.

Angles and pointing are major motifs.

What am I looking at, what’s the unique distinctive distinguishing features of each image?

Motif: {stable building entryway}

todo: at top or bottom of Commentary page, add section headings about specific motifs, w/ list of all Eadwine images that use that motif.

Tons of {building entrance}, that’s a *major*, #1 motif. Lots of crazy out of control branching trees.

{building entrance} = stability of control, = altar lamb censor hung in balance by 3 cables. serpent fountains at building entryway. to fill bowls of the elect sages.

Mapping Lyrics, Myth, & Motifs to Control-Model Transformation, per the Theory of Psychedelic Eternalism

Lyrics, myth, & motifs — covered by the Egodeath theory > the the Mytheme theory.

The Mytheme theory: psychedelic eternalism

Mytheme = Lyric Theme = Art Motif

Art & poetry & myth are, above all, depictions of transformation of the mental worldmodel from possibilism to the eternalism model of control-in-world.

🍄 TOO 🍄MANY MUSHROOMS! 🍄🍄 😵🍄

limited server space, will have to nuke 2020 dark .png files and replace by 2023 bright .jpg files.
