Update Dec. 2024: On some computers, you can move mouse to right side of screen, wait 3 seconds, for UI to fade out.

“Full Screen” means, the art website only wastes 30% of your available screen space on unwanted UI cruft & pointless unused blank space, instead of wasting 40%.

The whole idea of Chrome was to not have UI chrome, yet art website designers still are too proud to get rid of their damned UI when you select “Full Screen”.

Experience from Golden Psalter gallery shows that having two parallel pages with full x-linking is VERY unmanageable and time wasting and futile, way easier said than done. don’t expect to do full x-linking.

OTOH, this page is already overloaded, pushing the limits – it is risky adding commentary into the present page, I lost much content due to STUCK IN A loop for eternity, “AUTOSAVING…”, dirty, impure code need exorcism

Finally looked at Day 1 & Day 4 together, to directly fill the pans with mushrooms

At end of day Jan. 12, 2025, I finally brought together my analysis of Day 1 & Day 4 panels, informed by Day 3 panel, producing a huge double-breakthrough – at the same time as figuring out the smooth stepped progression of branching form in Day 3: III, IYI, YI, IY/YI (two breakthroughs interleaved & co-supporting; so, Day 1 + 3 + 4 worked together to co-decode, the co-signalling that Eadwine provided.

Jan. 17, 2025: My error until end of day Sunday, Jan. 12, 2025 was to only look at this panel in isolation, or only compare it to Day 3.

Flying away from the man is a bird, to which he is pointing (v. 2, transmigra in montem sicut passer // get you away from hence to the mountain like a sparrow). Below the bird are three seated men in discussion, “the upright of heart”, who are being shot at by three wicked men from below, using bow and arrows; a dark cloud is above them (v. 3, Quoniam ecce peccatores intenderunt arcum: paraverunt sagittas suas in pharetra, ut sagittent in obscuro rectos corde //For the wicked have bent their bow: they have prepared their arrows in the quiver, to shoot in the dark the upright of heart). To the right of the archers three men are demolishing a church with a mallet and pick-axes (v. 4, Quoniam que perfecisti destruxerunt // For they have destroyed the things you have made). Stones from the church walls are falling on the ground.

• I don’t intend to do a full morphy inventory of this tree here now, but, also: left cut branch = another double-cut branch: visually cut + terminally cut above that (to the left of blue cap).

Remember how puzzled I was by the “botched cross-under” in f177 row 1 left, perhaps in 2023.
