Eadwine Images in Great Canterbury Psalter (Commentary & Detailed Crops)

Intro

todo: put copy of entire picture in each section.

Mid-June 2023, I made voice recordings covering EVERY panel of every Eadwine image in Great Canterbury Psalter. todo: listen and add notes here.

June 25, 2023: I’m producing those recordings now; part A & B done (2 hours each, about 3 more parts to go). It will be webpage:
Egodeath Mystery Show Ep258 📖🖼🍄🌳🔍 Canterbury Psalter Images Tour (June 18-June ##, 2023)

Functional motivation for why this page exists: it is a pressure release valve and lightning rod to offload extra burden from the Gallery page.

May 26, 2025: I’ve created several dedicated pages, for Great Canterbury Psalter images:

  • f11 – 6 Days Creation & Eden.
  • f109 – diagonal/bus.
  • f134 – Eadwine’s leg-hanging mushroom tree.
  • f145 – Cubensis traders, king David.
  • f177 – 4 horses, balance on R foot, rams furnace.

Links to those pages:

Site Map: Great Canterbury Psalter

The gallery contains and highlights only the images (no crops or notes), effectively serving for navigation/ overview only.

This page provides a place to put commentary, like happened when it all began: in Nov. 10, 2020, while writing article: Compelling Evidence & Proof of Explicit Psilocybin Mushrooms in Christian Art to Communicate Non-Branching Stable Control, I added a section about the re-found John Lash image crop from image f134, and that quickly became 11 pages just for that one image — showing likelihood of massive content, overloading/breaking the gallery page and rendering it unfixable.

EXTREME DANGER, MAXIMUM RISK

The first application / usage of the completed gallery: find, crop, and put at top of this page an image of demons roasting and pulling sages, FOOLHARDY CUBENSIS PSYCHONAUTS and would-be Loose Cognitive Science researchers into hell-mouth fire pit vortex net trap, in desperate need of rescue from outside the system into stable temple altar gateway.

todo: images of angels harassing psychonauts desperately trying to avert their gaze and shield themselves against seeing their vulnerability. This will go in section: Motifs > {instability} > {threatened}

Motivation for Creating this Page

For technical reasons, need the Gallery page to be streamlined. Will add commentary to the present webpage instead.

“Full Screen” at Art Websites Means “Ok We’ll Only Waste Half of Your Screen”

Update Dec. 2024: On some computers, you can move mouse to right side of screen, wait 3 seconds, for UI to fade out.

“Full Screen” means, the art website only wastes 30% of your available screen space on unwanted UI cruft & pointless unused blank space, instead of wasting 40%.

The whole idea of Chrome was to not have UI chrome, yet art website designers still are too proud to get rid of their damned UI when you select “Full Screen”.

Website designers: What is so hard to understand by “Full Screen”? Show us the damn art, NOT your stupid screen-wasting UI design.

How to Be Pulled by a Demon into the Hell Flames Mouth Pit Furnace Net Thicket and Be Rescued into Stable Temple Gate Lamb Altar Gateway in Learned Balance of Left and Right Foot, Terror and Confidence Fear of God

The gallery is ready to gaze and shield your eyes from, and desperately struggle to avert your gaze from and defend against thinking your way into the thicket net demon hell flames fire vortex pit furnace hell-jaws, drawn into the {hell-mouth furnace pit} vortex.

As part of troubleshooting tech issues, I moved some content (tips & substantive commentary) from this page to auxiliary pages:

Stang Wanting “Evidence for the Eucharist”(?)

“I don’t think there’s any good evidence yet for the Eucharist, and I don’t think there will be evidence.”

Charles Stang, April 27, 2023, at 1:06:18 in https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TQPTb5u9F-U&t=3978s
“Are Psychedelics Theologically Significant for Judaism?”

What does Stang imagine the question to be, why does he says “evidence for the Eucharist”?

What exactly does he imagine he’s looking for, evidence for what, exactly?

How does my reading of Eadwine images provide a better-conceptualized version of that?

todo: link to my June 11, 2023 comment at https://cyberdisciple.wordpress.com/2021/05/10/cyberdisciple-reviews-brian-murareskus-the-immortality-key-summary-and-collection-of-posts/

What Webpage to Put Commentary for a Given Image?

How much commentary to put here vs. in another page?

Experience from Golden Psalter gallery shows that having two parallel pages with full x-linking is VERY unmanageable and time wasting and futile, way easier said than done. don’t expect to do full x-linking.

OTOH, this page is already overloaded, pushing the limits – it is risky adding commentary into the present page, I lost much content due to STUCK IN A loop for eternity, “AUTOSAVING…”, dirty, impure code need exorcism

This series of crops was from a superseded (though still helpful, in the new context) pairwise approach of interpretation to compare branching forms.

The new (Jan. 13, 2025) perspective is: Sweeping left to right across the 4 plants, with gradual stepped progression of branching sophistication.

Idea Development page 23 https://egodeaththeory.org/2025/01/07/idea-development-23/ has details, see “Day 3” sections there.

Each of the plants in the third-day scene also has branches. The mushrooms the PMTs wish to identify them with, however, do not.

Finally looked at Day 1 & Day 4 together, to directly fill the pans with mushrooms

At end of day Jan. 12, 2025, I finally brought together my analysis of Day 1 & Day 4 panels, informed by Day 3 panel, producing a huge double-breakthrough – at the same time as figuring out the smooth stepped progression of branching form in Day 3: III, IYI, YI, IY/YI (two breakthroughs interleaved & co-supporting; so, Day 1 + 3 + 4 worked together to co-decode, the co-signalling that Eadwine provided.

Jan. 17, 2025: My error until end of day Sunday, Jan. 12, 2025 was to only look at this panel in isolation, or only compare it to Day 3.

THE REASON THIS DAY HAS PLANTS, WHICH IT SHOULD NOT, IS BC EADWINE WANTS TO DEPICT MORE MUSHROOMS, AND WANTS TO PROVIDE EVIDENCE THAT DAY 1’S BALANCE SCALE CONTAINS MUSHROOMS.

Ronald Huggins’ “Foraging Wrong” article asks / discusses tradition of incongruity about what items are depicted in which day.

He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever.”
{immortal} = mature form, vs. temp perishable immature form

23

So the Lord God banished him from the Garden of Eden to work the ground from which he had been taken.

24

After he drove the man out, he placed on the east side [or: placed in front] of the Garden of Eden cherubim and a flaming sword flashing back and forth to guard the way to the tree of life.”

  • Fleeing demon has left foot forward (bad).

[Jan 15, 2025] continuing deepening connections about “one foot forward”: right foot forward / right leg forward is good, stable, equivalent to “weight on right foot”. Best foot forward. Handedness arb maps “R is better than L”. So “best foot forward” means “right foot forward”; “right leg forward”.

Mushroom tree #40: 2 caps, tan diamond leaves, brown diamond leaves, blue stem, cut branches, Y-branching with 1 arm

There is cut left trunk but not prominent. Prominent cut right trunk/branch – starting at that height, this mushroom-tree is mainly YI form.

[Jan. 16, 2025] Principle of interpreting Eadwine’s images:

  • Assume he is a mushroom enthusiast and takes every opportunity to signal mushrooms.
  • Assume that where there is potentially maximum cache of mushrooms, Eadwine has provided evidence of such – look for it; EXPECT confirming clues to be provided.
  • Assume Eadwine is striving to communicate message of {mushrooms}, {branching}, {handedness}, and {stability} motifs – certainly NOT to “hide” and make “secret”.

Mol’s txt: “The psalm tells of the just man’s trust in God.

God, holding a scroll, is seated in a temple (v. 5, Dominus in templo sancto suo: Dominus in celo sedes eius // The Lord is in his holy temple: the Lord’s throne is in heaven). To the right, turning to look at God, a man holding a pair of scales (v. 8, Quoniam iustus Dominus et iusticias dilexit // For the Lord is just and loves justice) addresses a scroll towards a group of men with spears who gesture up to him (v. 2, In Domino confido //In the Lord I put my trust). Flying away from the man is a bird, to which he is pointing (v. 2, transmigra in montem sicut passer // get you away from hence to the mountain like a sparrow). Below the bird are three seated men in discussion, “the upright of heart”, who are being shot at by three wicked men from below, using bow and arrows; a dark cloud is above them (v. 3, Quoniam ecce peccatores intenderunt arcum: paraverunt sagittas suas in pharetra, ut sagittent in obscuro rectos corde //For the wicked have bent their bow: they have prepared their arrows in the quiver, to shoot in the dark the upright of heart). To the right of the archers three men are demolishing a church with a mallet and pick-axes (v. 4, Quoniam que perfecisti destruxerunt // For they have destroyed the things you have made). Stones from the church walls are falling on the ground.

“At the top right, in a semicircle, is a devil breathing fire and bringing down flames on a group of cowering men, one of them with his cloak billowing in the wind (v. 7, Pluit super peccatores laqueos: ignis, sulphur et spiritus procellarum pars calicis eorum // He shall rain snares upon sinners: fire and brimstone and storms of winds shall be the portion of their cup). The contours of the hillscape frame the various groups.” — Moliero

As the angel cuts branching, the angel teaches the IY contrast, giving viable stable control.

The transformation process is experienced as a extreme absolute threat.

Egoic possibilism-thinking is put in the instructive situation of or configuration of:

You as local control agent have to desperately defend yourself from the 100% threat posed by your own thinking.

Strive to steer and control your own thinking and try (to save your life/to not lose control of your thinking) to avoid thinking.

Transformed to the adult form — eternalism-thinking — by the threat of losing control of your thinking.

A battle against your own source of control-thoughts/ experiences.

Other image: lion’s claws on your face, you are at the mercy of your own alien, uncontrollable thinking.

1:41 am June 10, 2023: The Sacrificer is in the middle of the picture. Left side of image: YI
Right side of image: IY
His hands held evenly & symmetrically reflect that direction-dependent handedness morphology:
Right hand: YI
Left hand: IY

1:50 am: God’s hands left to right are YI, IY. The right IY is accomplished upside down, so read angels left hands same: upside down then left to right gives IY, so that their hands form YI IY like God. Angel Left angel’s hands align with sacrificer’s hands. King’s hands: read L to R, forms YI IY.

stable altar to left of temple on right side of image.
stable tower to right of temple, on left side of image.

ram horns not splayed; non-branching

2:00 am: archer’s back is to us, so that his left hand forms a YI on the left, and an IY on the right, which matches the image theme.

The military invaders on the wrong side of the track are about to be shot down by the archer, 4 of them with 1 spear. The left (bad) left of lower left tree touches the army on the other side of the boundary. They are on left of image yet their making a YI, which is wrong.

Archer’s right, IY hand is in God’s God’s cloud that controls him. and because he puts left hand’s YI toward left side of image.

Wheat is branching.

Red is used for God’s red torch rays in other images.

Figured out 2:17 am the mystery of the contrasting mushroom tops of temple building: Left is nonbranching sphere. Right is “branching” leaf.

2:19 am: ! upper left: {tower} on right of building means, right = stable.

2:21 am building in upper right means the {gate} is on the left; non-branching is on left.

{building entrance} means the passageway through to stable control.

king is standing behind the bull where psil is, per image f134 row 3 middle placement of blue, ribbed vessel to gather cubes.

[12:58 a.m. June 10, 2023] Riddle: YI morphology of middle-right tree: plays with indicating bending the rules or equivalent morphology, ways of depicting IY: sweeping the 3 branches, bottom up:

stem 1: IY, implemented by the equivalence-trick of:
terminating the left branch.

stem 2: IY, implemented normally, also has cross-under on right.

stem 3: IY, implemented by the equivalence-trick of visual cutting the left branch, forming a cut branch.

stem 3 has two reds on left, which forms a YY, but they are visually a cut Y branch, and the left is nearer target, the temple.

The visually continuous rightmost branch is a IY b/c left is cut, cross-under.

upper left tree means non-branching (stable, good) is on left. God says right hand up, left hand down. Other figures conforming to or contradicting this is meaningful.

Sacrificer at the altar, washing his hands in a ritual meaning, and sacrificing a bull and two rams.

King’s right foot touches horns of a sacrificial ram.

Left, non-branching (good) branch is touching the right side of temple stable building.

the two trees on left, together signal: YI
branching (bad; unstable control) on left,
non-branching (good; stable control) on right.

ram at altar = Abraham & Isaac’s ram caught in a thicket.

donkey lying down ~= ram caught in thicket

left could touch tower but it doesn’t; the “bad” branching leftmost branch refrains from touching the tower.

bottom-left tree’s upper level, the trident, the rightmost (good) leaf touches the transcendent river boundary divider.

God hands king bow and arrows used to take down youths chariots with red spear/arrows, fired through the altar.

God holds closed book in left hand down.

Hands for washing held at same level: about to move rightt hand up like God.

the youths on chariots contradict God: right hand down.
feet = right down

YI morph’y of lower left tree: YI, YI, YI, through several implementations.

https://www.moleiro.com/vista/estaticos/formateadas/SG-256-1000-3000.jpg

“In a semicircle at the top centre, God rests asleep on a bed protected by a curtain (v. 23, Exurge quare obdormis, Domine? //

“Arise, why do you sleep, Lord?). Flanking him on each side are two groups of men seated on benches and holding books and scrolls (v. 2, Deus auribus nostris audivimus. Patres nostri annuntiaverunt nobis //

“We have heard, God, with our ears. Our fathers have declared to us).

“Below, a city is being attacked by many soldiers on horseback with swords, battle-axes and spears (v. 4, Nec enim in gladio suo possederunt terram // For they got not possession of the land by their own sword). Some of them are entering in through the city gate (v. 11, Avertisti nos retrorsum post inimicos nostros “You have made us turn our back on our enemies).

“At the front, among the soldiers, are sheep and goats, and a man lying dead on the ground (v. 12, Dedisti nos tanquam oves escarum // You have given us up like sheep to be eaten; v. 22, Quoniam propter te mortificamur tota die, estimati sumus sicut oves occisionis // Because for your sake we are killed all day long, we are counted as sheep for the slaughter).

Inside the walls of the city, on the left, a group of men is prostrated before an altar in a church (v. 25, Quoniam humiliata est in pulvere anima nostra, conglutinatus est in terra venter noster // For our soul is humbled down to the dust, our belly cleaves to the earth).

“On the right, a man holding a large scroll, shield and spear stands before a broken sword, bow and horn on the ground (v. 6, In te inimicos nostros ventilabimus cornu, et in nomine tuo spernemus insurgentes in nobis // We will push down our enemies with the horn, and through your name will despise them that rise up against us; v. 7, Non enim in arcu meo sperabo, et gladius meus non salvabit me // For I will not trust in my bow, neither shall my sword save me).

Four Ways of Showing {cut right branch}, in One Pilzbaum

[1:31 pm December 11, 2024] – all 3 ways — make that 4 ways — of showing {cut right branch}, in one pilzbaum!

At [2:00 pm December 11, 2024] I had to change “three” to “four” and add points about the {sword}!

Great Canterbury Psalter f193 row 1 left, pilzbaum:

  • Cut right trunk.
  • Visually cut right branch; crosses under other branch.
  • Cut right branch, above that (same branch as above, continued).
  • Sword cut right cap, inside that it cuts right cap of lib cap that’s inside the big cubensis cap.

— Identified by Cybermonk, December 11, 2024 – per my theory of branching morphology developed 2020-2023, which is part of my theory of the main four motifs that are involved and integrated into pilzbaum:

I copied the above picture (crop) from https://egodeaththeory.wordpress.com/2022/03/13/the-75-mushroom-trees-of-the-canterbury-psalter/#74
and then I made the two new crops below.

3wayscutrightbranch.jpg, 214 KB
https://gallica.bnf.fr/ark:/12148/btv1b10551125c/f193.item.zoom

The above image has nav junk in upper right, and fails to show the entire sword, as was intended. The below, bigger crop additionally shows features:

  • {bent left leg}; {weight on right foot}
  • {right hand lower than left hand} per major motif in f134.
  • sword/blade held in right hand, cut item (head branching like a limb off of body) held in left hand.
  • [3:15 pm December 11, 2024] – just noticed: the red right cap that’s cut by the sword, is also cut visually where its stem crosses behind blue cap’s branch.
  • I don’t intend to do a full morphy inventory of this tree here now, but, also: left cut branch = another double-cut branch: visually cut + terminally cut above that (to the left of blue cap).

Remember how puzzled I was by the “botched cross-under” in f177 row 1 left, perhaps in 2023.

I had not yet realized, or recognized, the theme/ motif/ technique:
{visually cut branch by crossing behind another branch}

Huge misleading thing I just noticed about image paths:
The date that’s shown in the image path is not the date of uploading the image to the gallery directory (December 2024); rather, it’s the date on which the present webpage was created (June 2023).

{YI hand} & {mushroom building topper} are examples of: when you gather all variants / instances of a motif, the most detailed and explicit instance enables strong interp & id’n of the most hazy & weak, non-detailed instance. It’s mandatory to work across the images, tracing a given motif.

These instances couldn’t be more mushroom-like. If you wanted to depict a literal closed-veil young cubensis (ball on stem), you’d draw this.

{donkey} = egoic exerter agent; control agent as center of experience of exertion, asserting and inspecting that control-system and experiential worldmodel in the loosecog state causes not having viable control.

{threatened}

{threatened} Motifs = stability

“harassing” = “threatening”, tormenting, persecuting, correctively punishing; attacking the sage, the cubensis Golden Teacher psychonaut

{demon harassing sage}

list of image numbers

{angel harassing sage}
{God harassing sage}
{army harassing sage}
{random guy harassing sage}
{lion harassing sage}

{threatened}

A major message from Eadwine: to be enlightened/ transformed/ redeemed/ saved/ rescued is to be threatened, as if by:

  • angels
  • demons
  • individual assailants
  • army (f134)
  • lions
  • God
  • by arrows, spears, swords, axe (f34), flames (f47), pickaxes (f47), whip/scourge/cat-o- tails (f96) (f115 donkey) f126 right, f141 right leering at furrowed-brow

discussed in recording TK_VOX_ 5785.wav, 22 min. vulnerability is your entire existence as a control agent, child is unaware and subject to panic/ {movability}/ reaction to grasping total vulnerability of your control thinking always. Accustomized to seeing the vulnerability, the open scroll touching the lion’s den and another touching the archers who are shooting at him, once you come to grips with your profound vulnerability, now aware of your control thoughts that have already been cre3rated and given to you always., now consciously.

your source of control thoughts is your insider threat, the inner vulnerable womb control insertion receiver, the control receiver = the local control agent, monolithic autonomous control agency or 2-level control relationship of dependence on the creator of the train of control-thought frozen pre-existing in the blue frozen timeless block universe.

{naked} = control vulnerability b/c you aren’t the source of your control-thoughts or will.

removed the egoic thinking {garment}; possibilism-thinking husk that gets cast off at the command of the gods, possibilism-thinking is demonstrated to be unstable and not viable — exerting it causes loss of control when in loosecog state. 1. Looking for evidence of the Eucharist, is like a dog chasing it’s own tail. There comes a time when the ordinary world cannot substantiate the existence of spirit, nor should it, since it is not through the ordinary world where the spiritual experience, beyond belief, substantiates transubstantiation. And it is there, in the word transubstantiation, where Christianity, in the ordinary world, gives the Eucharist, the blessing, through the body and blood of Christ. To look for historical evidence in the ordinary world of the Eucharist, as the means of transubstantiation, is no different than the dog chasing it’s own tail.

  2. Charles Stang has a hard time relating the Eucharist with the Psilocybin mushroom, because he hasn’t read the Egodeath Theory. He wants evidence which supports that relationship.

    Even if an ancient golden chalice with dried up psilocybin mushrooms in it were presented to him, he would still want to see a video of the ancient mass. That’s what the ordinary world does to people’s minds. It distances minds from innate wisdom by locking them within the boundaries that it creates.

    If Charles Stang would read the Egodeath Theory and it’s interpretation of ancient art, and Cyberdisciple’s interpretation of ancient literature as related to the mystic altered state, then just maybe he would begin to understand that the Eucharist is a living, breathing experience.
