The Nature of this Episode Content
Talking through all of the Eadwine images in Great Canterbury Psalter was an excellent exercise for me and a major milestone to force me to look at all aspects of all of the images.
The degree of certainty and coherent integrity of interpretation requires knowing all places where a variant of a given mytheme is presented.
eg know where the most explicit mushroom toppers are on the peaks of building roofs, so that inferior instances can be identified by knowing the most ideal instances.

As often happens, this talk-through prepared me to recognize that morphology / path in my next pass of looking at this picture.

14719 – five cut branches. fail to say the scroll-approved rightmost branch is the only one to reach God’s blue cloud? These observations about cuts visual cuts, prepped me to, upon next view, trace the rigthtmost branch up to the blue cloud.
