New setup: Going to https://egodeaththeory.wordpress.com redirects or resolves to http://egodeaththeory.org.
I kind of like and miss “Egodeath Theory at WordPress.com“, as said so many times in the Egodeath Mystery Show. I think it’s possible to display either domain in the URL.
Distinct from that is, no ads anymore.
I got exasperated with the recent incompetence of Verio, so created the present site — with a totally separate host and domain — in 2020, using my WordPress account started in 2016.
To have a different, independent website server, I tried WordPress because:
- Cyberdisciple used it. Site Map of Cyberdisciple.wordpress.com
- Around 2019, Yahoo removed Yahoo Groups discussion forums, and WordPress is designed for weblog posts, which is functionally somewhat comparable to discussion forums.
- WordPress is popular/standard.

A determined user has to manually fix the URL in Address bar, when using some nav features there.
Thanks, Verio, for automatically breaking my site every couple years, without me doing anything.
The Egodeath theory 
I look back at some of those things I wrote about emtheogens and suppression and don’t even recognize who did the writing.
What I learn from reading what I once wrote back then is that when we look back into the ancient world through a modern world lens, we distort the ancient world just like literalism distorts mystic altered state expression.
