I advocate total repeal of Psychedelics Prohibition, returning to eg 1912 non-existence of laws. Remove Psychedelics from the “schedules” and eliminate the “schedules”, like in 1912, and NO, we do NOT need “helpful laws”, nothing but an evil trojan horse; we did better during a million years of lacking such “helpful laws”. To Hell with “helpful laws”, “helpful Satan”. – Cybermonk

The 3 motifs, {branching-message mushroom trees}, {handedness}, and {non-branching} [and {stability}] motifs, can be explained by interpreting them as depictions of mental worldmodel transformation from transformation from possibilism to eternalism, literalist ordinary-state possibilism with autonomous control to analogical psychedelic eternalism with dependent control, driven by control instability loss of control and reconfiguration of mental worldmodel of control,
per the Egodeath theory, which is the Theory of Analogical Psychedelic Eternalism Cybernetics; the Theory of Psychedelic Eternalism.

As if no one understood either of these. As if it makes sense to recognize one without recognizing the other.
False elevation of Genesis text over fresco and pretending there’s weren’t THOUSANDS OF PPL FIGURED OUT BEFORE WASSON, tons of people who recognized both Genesis text & fresco as Amanita: eg. the 1900 AD French mycologists.

God: “You will certainly definitely die on the day that you will eat the fruit.” Making God a liar? How was God speaking truth, that:
ADAM AND EVE DID INDEED DIE ON THAT DAY THEY INGESTED THE FRUIT OF GNOSIS.
The correct mode of reading is whatever mode of reading succeeds at reconciling God with snake. That’s how to know it’s the correct mode of reading.
Entheogen scholars call God a liar, therefore their reading is WRONG.

No wonder Hatsis mistakes Irvin as a “Secret Christian Amanita Cult theorist”! IRVIN NEEDS TO REJECT ALLEGRO’S Secret Christian Amanita Cult THEORY-ASPECT. REJECT Reject the the Amanita Primacy Fallacy and reject the feeble-presence, heretical-only, alien invasion of The Mushroom into Christianity theory (which = the Amanita Primacy Fallacy, which Irvin doesn’t realize).

entheogen scholarship was reduced to Secret Amanita Cult theory, which Hatsis sees and he largely sees it because of Irvin’s book pointing it out.
Irvin fails to call out Allegro for causing the Amanita Primacy Fallacy.
Irvin fails to blame Allegro for creating the Secret Deviant Alien Invasion Heretical Sect.
the STINGINESS OF ALLEGRO just like Ruck, not much more generous than Wasson. Samo was the first to take up Panofsky’s hundreds of Pilzbaum and take slightly more generous than Allegro approach.
The Great Entheogen Scholarship Project, of Trying to Separate Mushrooms from Christianity
The field remained primarily stingy from Samorini 1997 through Entheos journal in 2003, when I DECLARED REVOLUTION AGAINST ENTHEOGEN SCHOLARS’ EXTREME STINGINESS IN OCTOBER 2002 & March 2003 when I announced the maximal entheogen theory of religion against evil M. Hoffman, Carl Amanita Promoter Ruck, Clark Heinrich — but I should have declared against the Amanita Primacy Fallacy, which is a package deal with the entheogen scholars’ main, master project and overriding objective that’s more important to them than repeal of Psilocybin Prohibition: the Great entheogen scholarship project of trying to separate mushrooms from Christianity.
John Lash tries to tear mushrooms away from Christianity.
EVERY entheogen scholar HAS BAD MOTIVES, FOR ALL TRYING TO REMOVE AND SEPARATE mushrooms from Christianity and minimize and neutralize them.
John Lash says Christianity is evil “salvationism” and therefore we cannot permit Christianity to be based on Psilocybin, but we must extract and remove psilocybin mushrooms from Christianity by erecting a firm barrier and wall in between “Christianity / salvationism” (bad) and Psilocybin (good).
Good job of fabricating false history guaranteeing that Psilocybin Prohibition remains in place forever, Lash and entheogen scholars.
Irvin rightly blames Ruck for stinginess and trying to separate mushroom from Christianity
Irvin fails to blame Allegro for a form of stinginess and trying to separate mushroom from real, normal, ordinary Christianity of the Middle Ages.
Entheogen Scholars’ “Absence and Suppression” Master Narrative that they Labor to Prop Up at All Costs: The Big Bad Church Got Rid of Mushrooms
Their Absence and Suppression Narrative: The Big Bad Church Got Rid of Mushroom and Didn’t Have Mushrooms, so every time, they always assert and EMPHASIZE it was a Secret Elite hidden cult sect heretical group, with “hidden, secret” mushrooms (The Mushroom 🍄 )
No wonder Hatsis says ditch the whole paradigm; kick out all these “Secret Christian Amanita Cult theorists” out of the field so we can begin doing serious, fact-based (not agenda/narrative-driven) entheogen scholarship.
Entheogen Scholarship has been False-Narrative Driven, Causing Prohibition
I simply say, Christians used mushrooms. Stop trying to sever this plain given! STOP SAYING “SECRET HERETICAL CULT SECT”!!

Ruck strives to restrict mushrooms to mystics and deviant, exceptional heretical sects.
John Allegro fails to be interested in mushroom trees, except the lone Amanita-based instance in the fresco.
John Allegro is a main source of the counterproductive Secret Amanita Cult dead-end, self-defeating paradigm that supports Prohibition.
John Rush, John Allegro, and Carl Ruck have all tried to restrict mushrooms to Amanita used only by deviant heretical sects or “elite”.
Instead, build theory around explanatory constructs such as the normal mainstream psilocybin Eucharist instead, as an effective, strategic, forward-driving explanatory construct.
Avoid explanatory constructs like secret, heretical, exotic cult sects from the exotic East.
Don’t strive to build a thick wall that separates mushrooms from normal Christianity, because that supports Prohibition.
Reject the Amanita Primacy Fallacy and the explanatory construct of Secret Christian Amanita cult.
Treat Psilocybin as the normal Eucharist, because that drives toward full repeal of Psilocybin Prohibition, and because it’s true, against the Amanita Primacy Fallacy.
The #1 objective of entheogen scholarship is Transcendent Knowledge about how the mind works, and full repeal of Psilocybin Prohibition.

Summary of Realizations: Rightly Assigning Credit and Blame to Entheogen Scholars
April 9, 2023
Gordon Wasson’s Contributions to and Harms to the Field
How Wasson steered the field ahead:
Built on the research from Reko, Schultes, and Graves.
Wrote books asserting Amanita and some semi-general entheogen ideas.
How Wasson steered the field into a dead end:
Pushed the Amanita Primacy Fallacy, in the Europe context.
Intensive, active, repeated scholarly obstructionism, severe lies of omission, withheld the weakness of Panofsky’s citation list consisting of flimsy Brinckmann 1906 and attached images and at least two letters from Panofsky.
He put more priority on self-promotion than on pursuing the truth about mushrooms in Christianity.
Harassed and insulted pompously, mycologists, “rightly or wrongly”.
Insulted the Plaincourault artist, lying about that artist, falsely (for self-aggrandizement) stating the painter had “no inkling”.
Falsely brags about being the first to figure out Genesis Eden text tree means Amanita. French mycologists beat him by 50 years, and ignores the thousands of other people who read Genesis esoterically/correctly as mushrooms.
John Allegro’s Contributions to and Harms to the Field
How Allegro steered the field ahead: Wrote a good book flap and book cover.
How Allegro steered the field into a dead end:
Secret Christian Amanita Cult.
Falsely presupposed Antiquity was Prohibitionist per unthinking presentism.
Failed to give a damn about the hundreds of psilocybin mushroom trees.
Brian Muraresku’s Contributions to and Harms to the Field
Everyone is twisting my arm to read and review The Immortality Key. I read Cyberdisciple’s critical review.
How Muraresku steered the field ahead:
A popular strong, bold assertion of the general entheogen theory.
How Muraresku steered the field into a dead end:
Pushes the Eleusis/ ergot/ kykeon primacy fallacy.
Gets sidetracked, like John Lash’s Not In His Name, on the topic of patriarchy.
Carl Amanita Promoter Ruck’s Contributions to and Harms to the Field
How Ruck steered the field ahead: Entheos journal, tottering tower of books, see praise by Muraresku.
How Ruck steered the field into a dead end: Pushes, hard, the Secret Christian Amanita Cult bad explanatory construct/ paradigm/ presupposition. Secret Amanita. Dr. Secret. Restricts the presence of mushroom in normal, real Christianity.
Jan Irvin’s Contributions to and Harms to the Field
How Irvin steered the field ahead: expose of social engineering astroturf manuf’g of the psychedelic revolution. 2008 book proving normalcy of mushroom imagery within DNA heart essence of Eucharist/ Christianity.
How Irvin steered the field into a dead end:
The book the Holy Mushroom doesn’t contain the word ‘Eucharist’!
Irvin inadvertently continues to think from within the Secret Christian Amanita Cult paradigm (presupposition-set).
Even as he asserts in THM that “the mushroom” is essential of Christianity, not an alien addition to Christianity, Irvin fails to identify “The Mushroom” with the Eucharist.
He says Christianity comes from “the Mushroom”, but he neglects and fails to identify “the Mushroom” as identical with the Eucharist.
Therefore I should use the phrase “the Psilocybin Eucharist paradigm” as against “the Secret Amanita paradigm“.
When Irvin flipped against the 65 entheogen scholars he interviewed in 2012, he falsely pitted Logos against “the mushroom” by which he only thinks of Amanita, but should think of psilocybin.
Irvin falsely conflates the “suggestogen” social misuse of psychedelics as if that’s the cognitive mechanism of action. The actual action is loose cog.
As firmly as Irvin 2008 asserted normalcy of “The Mushroom” in Christianity, he still had a completely shallow, exoteric esotericism, which makes it easy for him to reject The Mushroom altogether.
Irvin doesn’t know the potential of psilocybin, so he easily underestimates it, in reductionistic way. Irvin is barking up the wrong tree anyway, continuing to overemphasize “The Mushroom” (picture kiddie Amanita 🍄 ).
He doesn’t even grasp that we are not talking about Amanita, but Psilocybin.
It’s easy to let go of “The Mushroom”, when you’re confused about what the word ‘mushroom’ means: the psilocybin Eucharist.
Irvin 2022 refrains from attacking directly the assertions of Irvin 2008. I have relieved Irvin from the labor of reconciling himself; the only one who can do that is me (or someone who applies my theory).
We can assume that Irvin 2022 (Logos Media Irvin) will avoid, and is not able to reconcile with Irvin 2008 (Gnostic Media Irvin).
Reconciling Gnostic Irvin with Logos Irvin: It’s a Matter of How Well You Use It
My Amazon review of God’s Flesh already solved the reconciling.
Irvin 2008 should be amplified to become Maximal, such that Eucharist/Logos = Psilocybin.
Psilocybin is ideally correctly used to its full potential, which Middle Ages Europe Christianity came much closer to than in the Americas.
Ideally, psilocybin usage is taught to produce efficient transformation from possibilism to eternalism, resulting in qualified freewill thinking.
Psilocybin should be used more like it was in Europe than in the Americas; then it reaches its potential to be the Eucharist.
Thus is Irvin 2008 “psilocybin is the Eucharist/Logos” reconciled with Irvin 2022 “psilocybin is the enemy of the Eucharist/Logos”.
It’s how you use it.
Psilocybin is a tool, that can be used or mis-used, used poorly or well, profitably or unprofitably.
John Lash’s Contributions to and Harms to the Field
How John Lash steered the field ahead: pushing psilocybin and criticizing Wasson for pushing Amanita & the Amanita Primacy Fallacy.
How John Lash steered the field into a dead end: refuses to permit mushrooms to contact Judeo-Christianity b/c “salvationism”. Fails to cover Mithraism, which destroys his false narrative of mystery religions. Refuses to all Moses or Jesus or Paul to have used entheogens, because those figures are “salvationism” (which is bad, says Lash).
John Rush’s Contributions to and Harms to the Field
How John Rush steered the field ahead: gallery of broad-thinking evidence of mushrooms in Christian art.
How John Rush steered the field into a dead end: heavily pushing the Secret Christian Amanita Cult theory/paradigm of absence; “presence = abnormal = absence”.
Erwin Panofsky’s Contributions to and Harms to the Field
How Panofsky steered the field ahead: announced the “hundreds” and tried to cite Brinckmann and provide two mushroom trees in “the” letter to Wasson.
How Panofsky steered the field into a dead end: art historians plotted to carry out an information blackout, and forbid writing anything about mushroom trees, such that they ended up with only a single citation, Brinckmann (intensively repeatedly censored by Wasson).
Giorgio Samorini’s Contributions to and Harms to the Field
How Samorini steered the field ahead: Finally followed up on Panofsky’s thousands of psilocybin mushroom trees.
How Samorini steered the field into a dead end: 1998 article’s Figure 20 disaster, multiplies the mis-use of the fresco as if a paradigm.
Still condones the Amanita Primacy Fallacy.
Browns’ Contributions to and Harms to the Field
How Brown steered the field ahead:
2016 book
2019 publishing the Panofsky letters revealing major scholarly obstructionism and Wasson’s severe lying by omission.
How Brown steered the field into a dead end:
Trying to use St. Walburga tapestry to discard the galleries of Irvin & Rush.
Partially still being stuck in the “suppression and secrecy” paradigm which strives to separate mushrooms from real, normal DNA of Christianity / Eucharist.
Hatsis’ Contributions to and Harms to the Field
How Hatsis steered the field ahead:
Identified the Amanita Primacy Fallacy, the dead end of the Secret Christian Amanita Cult theory.
How Hatsis steered the field into a dead end:
Conflates Amanita with “mushrooms”.
Claims no psilocybin in England before 1976.
Lifts Irvin’s call to stop the secrecy premise from Irvin without crediting Irvin, and then falsely claims that Irvin pushes the secrecy premise.
Very aggressive and clumsy industrial-scale strawmanning.
Hatsis should accuse Ruck and Allegro of pushing Secret Christian Amanita Cult, not Irvin.
Hatsis is poor at Theory; lots of fallacious argumentation eg. “neutral = naturalistic = firmly assuming ordinary-state” interpretation of esoteric art.
Pushes the “text trumps art” fallacy.
Anti-mushroom psychedelic witch.
Presupposition that antiquity demonizes mushrooms (presentism projection of Prohibition, copycatting Allegro’s error).
Calls to END the field, rather than correcting it. Conflates “Allegro’s Secret Christian Amanita Cult theory is wrong” with “therefore no mushrooms in Christianity”.
Heading
Against Jan Irvin’s claim, John Allegro fails to give a damn about Erwin Panofsky’s broad category of (psilocybin) mushroom trees; Allegro only cares about the one, deviant, Amanita fresco.
Wasson limited and restricted mushrooms in Judeo-Christianity exclusively to the Genesis Eden tree text, no further, no later, eg not in the book of Revelation, even though it mirrors the Genesis trees.
Carl Ruck (with Gonzalez per Irvin 2008) falsely tries to credit Wasson with asserting Panofsky’s “hundreds” (ie. thousands) of mushroom trees. That credit belongs to Samorini, not Wasson.
Jan Irvin ought to criticize John Allegro for setting up a DEAD END, against the attempt (as stated on the cover) of Irvin & Rutajit’s 2006 book Astrotheology and Shamanism to try to broaden Allegro’s theory.
Allegro’s Secret Christian Amanita Cult theory is inherently the opposite of broad; you’re trying to do the opposite of Allegro.
Allegro CANNOT be given credit for broad interest in mushroom trees. ALLEGRO DIDN’T GIVE A DAMN ABOUT MUSHROOM TREES, Irvin – he ONLY cared about the deviant, lone Amanita tree, in the one fresco, that’s it; that’s all.
Irvin, stop mis-portraying Allegro as a Samorini-type, Cybermonk-type broad embracer of Panofsky’s “hundreds” (ie thousands) of (psilocybin) mushroom trees.
Against John Lash, Gordon Wasson refrained from asserting mushrooms in Christianity, so Wasson cannot be given credit for the broad idea of entheogens as the origin and inspiration in all the religions.
Against Thomas Hatsis’ claim, Irvin 2008 calls for ending the “secrecy” premise and Ruck’s & Wasson’s restrictive aspects of the Secret Christian Amanita Cult theory.
Irvin errs in condoning the Amanita Primacy Fallacy.
Hatsis needs to blame Allegro for fabricating the Secret Christian Amanita Cult theory.
Hatsis needs to blame Carl Amanita Promoter Ruck for pushing the Secret Christian Amanita Cult theory.
Jan Irvin needs to credit Giorgio Samorini, not John Allegro, for giving a damn about Panofsky’s hundreds of (psilocybin) mushroom trees.
John Rush — not Jan Irvin — pushes the Secret Christian Amanita Cult theory. See my expose of Rush’s narrative, contradicting his evidence, of his 2022 2nd Edition book:

Their Master Narrative that’s Their Main Objective: Explain that Early Christianity Minimized Use of Entheogens, and Frame all Evidence to Prop Up that Narrative of Absence and Separation
Seen clearly in the 2022 2nd Edition book cover blurb and imagery by John Lash, which totally DOES push “the Secret Christian Amanita Cult theory” that’s condemned by Thomas Hatsis. Hatsis 2013 should be condemning Ruck and Rush, NOT Jan Irvin!
Hatsis falsely attributes Ruck & Rush’s actual position to Irvin!
Irvin 2008 doesn’t reject Amanita emphasis as much as he should. When Irvin tries to reject, calls for rejecting the Secrecy premise, he should have (ideally) realized and recognized how much the Amanita is identified with the Secrecy premise.
Irvin does cover psilocybin art, and his Index lists many page #s on psilocybin. But he doesn’t recognized how Allegro was terrible and wrong for latching onto Amanita conflating it with “mushrooms”.
Irvin wrongly attempts to grant credit to Allegro for all psilocybin and amanita mushroom trees, but we cannot credit Allegro for anything stronger or broader than Secret Christian Amanita Cult in primitive Christianity (30 AD) and a tiny sliver (incoherent) of Secret Christian Amanita Cult in 1291 in Plaincourault ONLY, as a narrow, stingy, (cite Irvin’s wording), rare, deviant, non-Christian, alien, exceptional, abnormal heretical cult from the East.
fact: Allegro was a huge part of the problem, the narrowing, trying to SEPARATE entheogens — ie, Amanita ONLY, from Christianity.
What Allegro asserted: Secret Christian Amanita Cult in primitive Christianity (30 AD) and Secret Christian Amanita Cult in 1291 in Plaincourault, ONLY.
What Irvin tries to credit Allegro for:
Samorini 1997 rightly gets credit for the full Panofsky “hundreds” of mushroom trees IN Christianity although most likely, Samorini habitually tries to SEPARATE as abnormal, psilocybin & amanita from real Christianity.
Irvin’s book emphasizes clearly, Christianity IS entheogen based; the DNA of Christianity is entheogens; entheogens are the essensce of normal, real Christianity.
Jan Irvin in The Holy Mushroom (2008) calls for entheogen scholars to stop trying to SEPARATE entheogens from real Christianity. Irvin is provably the OPPOSITE of “Secret Christian Amanita Cult theory” which sloppy Hatsis the sloppy lecturer about historiographical methodology, carelessly assigns Ruck & Rush’s position to Irvin.
Irvin’s flaw is to continue overemphasizing Amanita; Irvin ought to firmly switch from the Amanita primacy fallacy to the Psilocybin primacy premise.
todo: quote Jan Irvin’s book THM where he criticizes stingy Carl Ruck who thinks his job is to REMOVE mushrooms from Christianity by separating mushroom use as “sect” and “cult”, and deleting and separating mushrooms from Christian art by artificially labelling each occurrence as “hidden” and “secret”.
Ruck in fact is THE one who is pushing “the Secret Christian Amanita Cult theory”.
Irvin ought to criticize John Rush for pushing the same narrative of absence, or NARRATIVE OF SEPARATION OF ENTHEOGENS FROM Christianity.
In John Lash’s false telling, if you assert visionary plants in religion, you assert Wasson’s idea.
Lash over-broadens Wasson’s narrow limited idea, to falsely say in body of 2nd edition of Not in His Name, falsely claiming that Wasson wrote that “all authentic mystical experience is from entheogens.” todo: insert photo of that page.
Wasson wrote that the ingestion of visionary plants is the origin of all genuine religious experience.
John Lash, Not in His Image, 2nd Edition, p. 220, WAY over-crediting Wasson and mis-painting him as FAR more assertively asserting entheogens in all religion including Christianity — which Wasson never asserted, but refrained from asserting, and always consistently harassed and was obstructionist to people who did assert mushrooms in Christianity
VERY false statement from Michael Pollan’s book How to Change Your Mind; WAY over-crediting Wasson:
Irvin’s book THM is specificially to set the record straight to correct attribute narrow credit to Wasson only penetrating into Genesis text chapter 3 and no later, because Wasson never asserted in any clear definite extent, any later presence of entheogens in Judeo-Christianity. Irvin wants to give as much, as broad credit to Allegro as possible, badly wishes that we could give credit to Allegro for the entire general set of Panofsky’s “hundreds” (ie thousands) of mushroom trees. Citations available in THM, for my above assertions. I read aloud the passages to back that up, in Egodeath Mystery Show. But in the show so far, I was in process of doing the research. Now I have determined the situation and here are my conclusions.
Irvin DOES NOT assert Secret Christian Amanita Cult, but in fact, the opposite: Irvin REBUTS and calls for REJECTING Rucks’ (with Gonzales) …
(this makes me happy because in 2008, Irvin is criticizing Carl Ruck for much of what I in 2020-2023 have been (and maybe in Oct 2002/March 2003) rebelled against Ruck for: though I reject Amanita, specifically; Irvin doesn’t do that.
I condemn Ruck for pushing Secret Amanita …. let me now strengthen my condemnation, leveraging “sect” and “cult” :
Just like Ruck puts each msh image in a cage to remove it and separate it from real Christianity, he call / he labels and he neutralizes by labelling each image as “hidden” and “secret” though they are shown openly. similarly, Ruck jails each psychedelic user in Christian history into the jail-cell brick cell as “sect” and “cult”. Irvin has good wording here, todo: quote Irvin THM against Ruck.
wish i read before, The Holy Mushroom book’s beginning & ending.
Irvin supports with the best evidence my position against the Secrecy paradigm. And shows that the field has two opposed paradigms.
Irvin emphasizes msh were the origin and inspiration within Christianity, and calls to stop fabricating a brick wall between msh & real Christianity, as Ruck tries to do.
Irvin tries to credit Allegro with asserting msh trees, which i think is unjustified. Samorini is the first to assert that, in 1997, Afaik
voice rec’gs made
Next I want to make a voice recording and a post and update my introduction and conclusion to my branching message mushroom trees article to connect a series of three things number one rightly giving right credit and restricting the credit regarding Mushroom trees because mushroom trees is the same thing as emphasizing visionary plants in Christianity really amounts to Mushroom Tree’s
That is the middle point to discuss the first point to discuss is giving the right amount of credit to the right people and this also includes listing who tried to give the incorrect amount of credit to Giorgio Sam Marini or Gordon Wasson or John allegro or to me or to Professor Brown
And John Lash’s gets some specific credit for some thing and John Lash’s wrongly tries to give too much credit to Gordon Wasson but uncharacteristically John Lash’s does criticize Wasson — I am glad — for pushing the Amanita Primacy Fallacy, and failing to emphasize psilocybin instead.
I don’t know that Thomas Hatsis gets credit should get credit for anything but Thomas Hatsis tries to falsely assign blame not credit but blame wrongly assigning blame Tyonna irvin’s Jan Irvin when in fact that blame is rightly directed at Carl Ruck’s and Carl Ruck’s @that’s correct and at John Rush
And connect those two topics of assigning credit and assigning blame rightly and specifically together with the middle topic of equating visionary plants with specifically mushroom trees as announced by Erwin Panofsky in 1952 connect that with the third topic which is my introduction and conclusion of my branching message Mushroom trees article explaining the motives of stability motif and Branching Mushroom motif and handedness motif and non-branching motif and explain how those motives map to the developmental model of the mental world model developing from a child immature mental model of control and in world to an adult mature mental model of control in world.
Announcement: Wasson Wrote the Published-1986 Persephone’s Quest Passage about Changing His View, in 1952
(not in 1968), or whenever the very first time he ever wrote about Genesis Eden tree or the Plaincourault Fresco
It is actually very simple and I made it pretty mistake I made a pretty mistake and mistaken 2006
clearly it had to be long before the 1968 book SOMA, because he wrote in Persephone’s quest it has been he wrote ” I have not thought about Genesis Eden tree since I was a child and now I thought about the genesis Eden tree for the first time since I was a child.”
logically then, this is quite simple !
when did Wasson first think about
Wasson says this is the first time I have written about or thought about Genesis Eden tree since I was a child — we know that he was standing at the Plaincourault Fresco in June 1952 , and that he wrote with letters to Erwin Panofsky about the Fresco in May 1952 , which would necessarily mean — as an sane person would agree —
dup as backup of broken app:
Wasson says this is the first time I have written about or thought about Genesis Eden tree since I was a child — we know that he was standing at the Plaincourault Fresco in June 1952 , and that he wrote with letters to Erwin Panofsky about the Fresco in May 1952 , which would necessarily mean — as an sane person would agree –that Wasson must have thought about the genesis Eden tree when he was discussing the Plaincourault Fresco
that Wasson must have thought about the genesis Eden tree when he was discussing the Plaincourault Fresco
it is impossible to discuss the Plaincourault Fresco without thinking about the Genesis Eden text
therefore it quite it is very simple to prove that this passage must have been written in the era when Wasson visited and discussed the Plaincourault Fresco, 1952.
so now it is very simple: we can definitely date when he wrote the Persephone’s quest passage: it is whatever date that he first wrote anything about the Genesis 2 & 3 Eden text or the Plaincourault fresco.
QED!
initial writing of this secn:
Also very interesting I have pushed back this is an Errata correction of my 2006 article and a correction of Jan Irvin 2008 book.
My 2006 argument doesn’t quite reach coherence.
When did Wasson write the passage in the 1986 book Persephone’s Quest? The correct answer is before May 12, 1952 — whatever date that he first wrote anything about the Genesis 2 & 3 Eden text or the Plaincourault fresco.

The 3 motifs, {branching-message mushroom trees}, {handedness}, and {non-branching} motifs (+ {stability}), can be explained by interpreting them as depictions of mental worldmodel transformation from transformation from possibilism to eternalism, literalist ordinary-state possibilism with autonomous control to analogical psychedelic eternalism with dependent control, driven by control instability loss of control and reconfiguration of mental worldmodel of control,

What does Irvin say about “where did Allegro get the idea of msh in Christianity?”
Not from Wasson, who only showed the fresco, nothing else later than Genesis 2-3 in the Bible text.
Allegro got research not mainly from Wasson, but mainly from Ramsbottom mycologist 1925-1953+, and Robert Graves, per Irvin.

According to this developmental model of the mind’s mental worldmodel of control-in-world,
The developmental model of the mind from immature form to mature form is specifically, according to this model, child to adult mode, from 1 way of thinking to a different.
Given we have two sides/ L & R limbs, in visual art we can use handedness to represent the two ways of thinking.
It’s easy to visually represent L & R limb of tree and body and animals, and it’s easy to visually represent the concept of branching contrasted with non-branching.
So here’s an arbitrary mapping of the intermediate analogy motifs:
non-arb: branching & non-branching
arb whether map to L or to R, but the key is, there are only two, contrasted directions. Also it’s a flexible mapping bc everyone knows it’s arbitrary. But everyone knows the important thing is, there’s two, and they are opposed.
2 degrees of abstraction: {handedness}; {left limb} vs. {right limb} 1 degree of abstraction: {non/branching}; {branching} vs. {non-branching} Ultimate referent pair: possibilism vs. eternalism.
so: {handedness} motif –> {non/branching} motif –> possibilism vs. eternalism
read –> as “refers to” or “describes by analogy, “
Now add in the TRANSITION DRIVER: Ultimate referent: transformation from possibilism to eternalism.
1:11:39 this mapping of the … We can then say in images: this mapping of the earlier mental worldmodel to the Left limb, and the later mental worldmodel to the Right,
An interesting major characteristic of the initial mental worldmodel is that when you employ that mental worldmodel when on pscilocybin, when we assert and exert and employ that model when in loose cognition from psilocybin, [1:12:10] there is control instability, loss of control , panic, flames, fire, monsters, demons torment,
so we want to communicate and depict moving from one mental worldmodel to the other, and we want to indicate that that transformation process is driven by control instability. so we have motifs then to represent control stability – IT SEEMS LIKE THAT’S A MISSING MOTIF, BECAUSE TWO MOTIFS IN MY TITLE COVER “BRANCHING”, BUT CONTROL STABILITY MOTIF ISN’T MENTIONED IN MY ARTICLE TITLE:
add to title the {stability} motif: [done]
{tower, weighing balance, flames} (mean the threat and in some sense, the actuality of loss of control), and a transformation of control from autonomous control, like king, to dependent control, like guy being held up by the right hand by God’s hand coming from the cloud.
dependent control and stable column base, weighing balance, balancing in tree, balancing on right foot, tower, cathedral construction, [continued in next clip]

1:13:15 – (VOX_TK_4877) Summarizing the motifs including: and stable column base, weighing balance, flames, balancing in tree, balancing on right foot, stable column base, tower, cathedral building.

A couple quiet evening recordings about Irvin’s book The Holy Mushroom: verdict: Irvin does NOT assert Hatsis’ fabrication, “the Secret Christian Amanita Cult theory”.
Irvin had just been in heavy discussion with me in 2006, before this 2008 book — not about the Egodeath theory, but about assessing Wasson and Allegro.
Irvin’s intro is short and good and tight and he subtle OVERCREDITS ALLEGRO mis-portraying Allegro as if Allegro’s concern was entheogen scholarship.
Per Cyberdisciple, Allegro is NOT an entheogen scholar, and this from Irvin is a misrepresentation, just as Lash and Ruck and Ott try to glorify Wasson, Irvin over-glorifies Allegro trying to make it appear that Allegro asserted medieval mushrooms, which he barely, and inconsistently did, only.
Irvin exaggerates Allegro’s embrace of entheogen scholarship in the current sense eg like Samorini 1998.
Samo 1998 is extremely more full-fledged than Allegro 1970. Samo is the first AFAIK to truly propose inverting Panofsky re: pilzbaum, mushroom trees.
Did Allegro comment on Panofsky re: mushroom trees? Not just the Plainc fresco, but the whole category that Panofsky reported in 1952, communicated by Wasson in 1968 book Soma? And that Wasson told Ramsbottom (head mycologist) in 1953.
WHY DIDN’T RAMSBOTTOM AND GRAVES ASK PANOFSKY WHY HE HAS NO CITATIONS,
GIVEN THAT ART HISTORIANS CONFESS THAT THEY ARE VERY FAMILIAR WITH MUSHROOM TREES, AND CALL THEM “MUSHROOM TREES”, AND YET, THE FACT IS, THEY HAVE NEVER WRITTEN ANYTHING ABOUT MUSHROOM TREES.
THIS COMBINATION OF FACTS AMOUNTS TO PROOF IN 1952 AND 1968, OF A COVER-UP OPERATION, CORRUPTION OF THE ART HISTORY PROFESSION, including training “competent” art students: “Do not write about the Mushroom Trees problem taboo that we have.“
Irvin accuses Wasson of “forcing” (end of book) entheogen scholars to submit to Panosky’s corrupt cover-up info blackout. I call BS against Irvin here:
Irvin, What Is Wrong with Entheogen scholars such that not one of them until samo 1997 and me in 2006, demanded “CITATION FKKING NEEDED!!” in response to Panofsky’s claim? Entheogen scholars have no excuse.
They FAILED to demand Citations, WTF??!! You can’t blame Wasson for “forcing” the entheogen scholars to accept Panofsky’s lying con artist cover-up operation, when they must be held responsible for eagerly lapping up Wasson’s bull shiite and not asking for citations like I immediately did in my 2006 article the moment I read “Panosfky says there are hundreds of mushroom trees and we are highly familiar with them.” I INSTANTLY demanded citation. What’s Rucks’s excuse, Ramsbottom’s excuse, Allegro’s excuse?
WHY DIDN’T ALLEGRO DEMAND CITATIONS FROM WASSON & PANOFSKY OF WHERE ART HISTORIANS COVERED MUSHROOM TREES??!!
WHAT’S WRONG WITH ENTHEOGEN SCHOLARS THAT THEY LAPPED UP THIS OBVIOUS B.S. COVER-UP INFO BLACKOUT? They should have yelled like I did, CITATION NEEDED!
WHY IS SAMO 1997 THE FIRST TIME AN ENTHEOGEN SCHOLAR WENT AGAINST WASSON “FORCING” THE PANOFSKY BOGUS (& SELF-CONTRADICTORY) CLAIM? (CONTRADICTORY B/C LACKS ANY CITATIONS)
If I were Ramsbottom or Allegro or Graves or Ruck, etc, I would have asked Panofsky,
“Where have you art historians discussed this very familiar topic of Pilzbaum?

Carl Amanita Promoter Ruck
I was glad to see Irvin criticize STINGY RESTRICTIONIST RUCK. He tackles each finding to frame it in a jail of “heretical, rare” — Ruck says there was 2 guys at any point in time, no more. In the church. He loves to make msh as rare as he possibly can. That’s always the narrative. The moderate entheogen theory of religion = the minimal entheogen theory of religion (everyone moves between the two positions).
I’m maximal. They’re “moderate” aka minimal. Their emphasis is always rareness, secrecy, abnormality, deviance, heresy, elite only — AND IRVIN POINTS THIS OUT I was glad to see.

Irvin overstates Allegro AS IF Panofsky mentioned “hundreds of Pilzbaum” and then Allegro took up that assertion / coverage, when in fact, Allegro didn’t say any more than 1 SENTENCE; about Plaincourault only; and only in some copies of his book!
Only Samorini in 1997/1998 FINALLY went against Panofsky re: the “hundreds” (ie thousands) of msh trees.
Samorini rightly gets the credit, not Allegro. Def’ly NOT WASSON, as Ruck & Ott try to revise history.
Gosso in Samo’s journal (1st series) makes a totally bunk, bogus VAGUEST POSSIBLE CLAIM, “Wasson implicitly changed his view about mushroom trees.” <– meaningless jibberish, as Samo in 1997 Wasson 9-page article says. Irvin’s book destroys this B.S. 180-degrees rewrite of history. INVERSION of history. Deserves a fail-quote:
Wasson implicitly changed his view about mushroom trees. Mean, biased obstructionists refused to listen to him though.

WTF, WHY ISN’T THE FIELD OF ENTHEOGEN SCHOLARSHIP DRIVEN BY THE OBJECTIVE OF REPEAL OF PSILOCYBIN PROHIBITION??
The reason all entheogen scholars tell the false lying story and they try to get …
They all have a huge conflict of interest.
They don’t want to be charged with violating the Allegro taboo by asserting mushrooms within Christianity, so, they all use a directly self-defeating narrative commitment, “no msh in Christianity, b/c big bad mean church.”
They all get tricked and manipulated into defeating themselves.
We have to reveal the truth, plainly the simple presence —
FORBIDDEN WORD LIST: HERETICAL, SECRET, RITE, CULT, SUPPRESSED, HIDDEN, and
the Forbidden Narrative that I disallow is “The Church …
THIS IS THE FKKING MASTER NARRATIVE THAT ENSURES PERMANENT PROHIBITION CAUSED BY ENTHEOGEN SCHOLARS:
Entheogen scholars (eg T McKenna book Food of the Gods) are eager to neutralize, suppress, and remove mushrooms from Christianity to prop up their Prohibition-Compliant, anti-Allegro narrative (bad strategy), “The Church Removed All Mushrooms” aka “Please Don’t Call My Position ‘the Allegro Theory’“.

This is THE extremely malformed field, the worst, by design, by taboo.
This wannabe “science” field is designed to be as taboo and malformed as possible. So, the rules of Phil o Sci are N/A in this topical domain.

30:00 – Failure of today’s backwards “Psychedelic Science”, which is the opposite of science: cargo cult reductionist, reductionism, pretending to explain.
Brain scanners are bunk, no connection with the mind/ experience.
Article (a psychedelic science paper) says stop using phrase “ego dissolution”, b/c it’s uselessly vague.
Per YouTube videos by experts, default mode network (DMN) doesn’t actually correlate with reduced cognition/experiencing.
“Neuroplasticity” is irrelevant jargon, unhelpful for psychedelic cog sci.
Angst/Dread is not “of ego dissolution”, as OAV/ Dittrich / 5D-ASC dimension name falsely asserts.
Psychedelic Non-Science pretending to be science, pretending to constitute an explanation.
“Psychedelic Science” = Group-Level “Fake it Til You Make It”
Mis-calling the 11-Factors (which has 15 factors) “Studerus’ 5D-ASC”. What are the 5 dimensions, if OAV are covered by the 2 top-level dimensions? Gotcha: incoherent.
11-Factors replaces o/a/v 3 dimensions by only 2 dimensions (Unpleasant & Pleasant), so “5” becomes untrue if you use 11-Factors, you gotta rename it “Studerus’ 4D-ASC with 11-Factors” (which has 15 factors).

todo: DO BETTER ANNOTATIONS ON FEWER COPIES OF IMAGE F134 for article branching-message mushroom trees. Must be more efficient in explaining f134; more condensed, more clear, more to-the-point, more selective, more pointed, more savvy use of annotated image & summary explanations.
50:00 – God is superior in image f134 than in f145. Eadwine disliked some implementation elements in f145, and so designed f134 to improve upon f145. God signals far more distinctively / effectively in f134 than in f145. Improved signalling in f134.
1:00:00 – I was able to use Lash 2008 image 134 row 1 left 2/5. What if I had to work off Irvin’s THM book 2008 poor (over-dark) image of Dancing Man Salamander?
Get Irvin’s color book, not the b/w. I benefitted from Hatsis’ library copy of Dancing Man image, but I did not benefit from Hatsis’ discusssion of the image, nor from his research data about the image. I only benefitted from the library’s high-res image, which was the only positively valuable-to-me aspect of Hatsis’ Roasting the Whatever article.
I critique and read Irvin’s gallery chapter in his book The Holy Mushroom. A losing unprofitable game, I’m not playing “yes it is, no it isn’t a mushroom”.
The Principle of Artist Responsibility
1:05:00 – A very good, thorough discussion of The Principle of Artist Responsibility.
I talk through the argument: by definition, if artist didn’t mean mushroom, they would have to withhold msh imagery.
If you deliver mushroom imagery, then that inherently proves you mean mushrooms — an argument not from artist intention, but from viewer: the measure of “what does msh imagery means”, is:
DO WE AGREE THAT THIS IMAGE IS BOUND TO GIVE THE VIEWER A MSH IMPRESSION?
IF YES, THEN BY DEFINITION, OBJECTIVELY THE IMAGE MEANS MSH, REGARDLESS OF INCOHERENT CLAIMS THAT “ARTIST DIDN’T MEAN MSH”.
The art historians already lost this argument, they’ve tipped their hand, they already gave away the truth: art historians call them “mushroom trees”.
That’s an unrecoverable error and gap in the LYING ART HISTORIANS’ COVER-UP OPERATION.
“… the plant in this fresco has nothing whatever to do with mushrooms (which would indeed be surprising since it was the tree, and not the mushroom, of good and evil which brought about the transgression of the First Parents), and the similarity with Amanita muscaria is purely fortuitous.”
The object in this painting has nothing whatever to do with pipes, and the similarity with pipes is purely fortuitous.

1:30:00 – Loser project: “This article is to prove that there’s mushrooms in Christianity.” rather: Given that there’s a ton of psilocybin in Christian art, how to interpret the combination of {branching-message mushroom trees}, {handedness}, and {non-branching} motifs?
My mission is “Deliver theory/ proof that Christian art depicts psychedelic eternalism“, not “Proving msh in Christianity” , I won’t even MENTION the latter accomplishment. Not that there’s msh in Christian art; but rather, that there’s psychedelic eternalism in Christian art. I merely peripherally use the fact of msh in Christian art, to support my assertion than psychedelic eternalism is asserted in Christian art.
1:35:00 – my 2007 article charged 3 charges against Panofsky & Wasson:
There are no real citations of art historians positively covering mushroom trees.
Wasson is withholding citations BECAUSE they are so extremely pathetic and reveal/expose that the art historians have been doing a COVER-UP OPERATION.
Were Wasson to allow through any citation from Panof (I argued in my 2006 Plainc article), that would reveal the perverse & corrupt sense in which “we art historians are familiar with msh trees”: ie, they are familiar with performing a cover-up operation to AVOID writing about msh trees.
1:42:00 – “classical psychedelics” – why I am forced to say “Psilocybin”, not “mushrooms”, not “classical psychedelics”, not “mushrooms”, not “psychoactives”.
Saying specifically ‘psilocybin’ prevents robbing/stealing the spotlight from psilocybin, which is what everyone is trying as hard as possible to do.
Everyone wants to suppress psilocybin and compete against it and shut it out.
1:45:00 – ‘determinism’ specifically is defined by everyone as (possibilism-premised) domino-chain causality.
“determinism” is fundamentally different than eternalism, just like possibilism is opposite of eternalism.
1:46:00 – any worldmodel or metaphysics system per Letheby has on offer, if it’s not specifially eternalism, then it is by default, some flavor of possibilism. Letheby defines 13 versions of possibilism.
The “Unclean Lips” Principle: Every Word Written by Someone Who Hasn’t Been Converted to Eternalism-Thinking Is Drenched in that Person’s Possibilism-Thinking
eg all of the following notions/phrases are possibilism-based conceptualizations, and so are all of Timmerman/Letheby/ Robin Carhart’s 13 metaphysics positions, both their Physicalist and Non-Physicalist metaphysics views, ARE ALL THOROUGHLY BASED IN AND SATURATED WITH POSSIBILISM-THINKING.
My future has already been determined by fate.

2:00:00 – More critique/ reading of the gallery intro in Irvin’s book THM to the gallery of msh images in Christian art.
salamander coverage in The Holy Mushroom; reading and commenting on Irvin’s gallery of images
2:05:00 – {flames} mean control instability in the loose cognitive state driving transformation from possibilism to eternalism. That is worth covering; useful, relevant, helpful.
But “salamander is a symbol for Amanita”, as Irvin asserts, is worthless and incidental at best.
2:10:00 – Irvin is typical, in his presentation of the 4 plants. Exactly like Brown, everyone starts on the right, as if we’re reading Hebrew: why? b/c it’s our favorite mushroom, Amanita (I think that’s the only mushroom that exists? 🤷♂️ that’s what expert Hatsis says).
Irvin wrongly says “Opium, Rue, Psilocybin, Amanita” – a popular wrong analysis from most entheogen scholars. And Irvin fails to mention — self-contradictory! — in the “God creates plants” plate, msh 2’s cap includes “little mushrooms” (liberty cap caps), yet Irvin points them out in the Tree of Knowledge plate from Eadwine immeditately below it on Irvin’s same page!
If the upper panel (God creates plants), plant 2, contains IDENTICAL “little mushrooms in the top”, then how can Irvin claim that that plant is “Syrian Rue”? Since when does Rue’s top have “little mushrooms” (liberty cap caps) in the top? Irvin doesn’t even mention this huge self-contradiction!
page 117, THM, Irvin 2008. Plate 6 (msh 2 of 4) vs. Plate 7 (tree 2 of 3) – contradictory interpretation.
If Plate 7’s msh/cap is msh, then how can the same identical cap in Plate 6 mean Syrian Rue?
God Creates Plants – Fresh Colors
I’m the only entheogen scholar to make a sensible identification of the 4 mushrooms as 4 mushrooms instead of stupid irrelevant random shiite and retardedly starting on the right b/c Amanita:
Get a clue, entheogen scholars: Correctly rationally identified by Cybermonk 2020: Left to right (not right to left): Panaeolus, Liberty Cap, Cubensis, Amanita imagery meaning psilocybin.

Why should my article (my particular article) that presents the successful, clear-thinking explanation of branching-message mushroom trees, cite this Hatsis article (which he ruined and broke and made unusable by scholars) that exemplifies everything wrong with the field of entheogen scholarship?
One of the problems with the Christian Mushroom Cult theory is that many of the supposed “shrooms” in Christian art look less like an Amanita than the tree on fol. 027v. What are we to think when we encounter these lesser-looking mushrooms?
Hatsis, Roasting the Something/Someone, 2013 or 2017
Hatsis thinks, and maybe Irvin & Ruck also mistakenly thinks, that the topic under debate is “the Secret Christian Amanita Cult theory”.
His article thinks it’s in the debate thread, debating “the Secret Christian Amanita Cult theory”.
Maybe Irvin & Ruck think the same.
The field is stunted, stuck in the Amanita Primacy Fallacy, a childish stunted developmental stage.
The Entire Field of Entheogen Scholarship V1 Is Stuck Mis-Focused on the Wrong Debate: “Was There a Secret Christian Amanita Cult?”
They are all participating in THE WRONG DEBATE.
“One of the problems with the Christian Mushroom Cult theory”
But is that even what we’re debating?
I don’t know what you guys think we are doing here, but the correct objective of the field of entheogen scholarship is: Extent Mushrooms Christianity.
To what extent mushrooms in Christianity?
That is (because you are particularly confused what the word ‘mushroom’ means):
To what extent psilocybin mushrooms (and Amanita imagery) in Christianity?
Hatsis continues:
“is that many of the supposed “shrooms” in Christian art look less like an Amanita”
[you just conflated (again) “shroom” with “Amanita” -cm]
“than the tree on fol. 027v. What are we to think when we encounter these lesser-looking mushrooms?”
Why do you measure all “mushroom” imagery and rate it specifically by how closely it “successfully” matches Amanita?
WHY IS PSILOCYBIN TAKEN TO BE “LESSER-LOOKING” THAN AMANITA?

The Disaster of Samorini’s 1998’s Figure 20: Using Plaincourault Fresco as if a Paradigm to Structure the Entire Field & Mushroom Tree Morphology eg Dancing Man in the “Plaincourault Tree Type” Column
What the hell is POINT of Figure 20? The only thing it proves is that your classificiations are so irrelevant that you can’t even find 3 examples of your “Plaincourault [ie Amanita] tree type”.
Calling a new class “the Saint Sauvin tree type” is a TERRIBLE idea!!
You’re taking everything wrong with the the Amanita Primacy Fallacy, and multiplying that error and doubling-down on the failed idea of using Plaincourault’s fresco to serve as the model paradigm of the entire field of entheogen scholarship re: mushroom trees.

Are These the Plaincourault Tree Type, or the Saint Sauvin Tree Type? Why Can’t Figure 20’s Classification Scheme Handle This Image? Then What’s the Purpose & Scope of Figure 20’s Classification Scheme? That Attempted (Failed) Scheme Is Irrelevant and Just Misleading into Confusion
The other trees in this same article — eg Dancing Man! — destroy your classification scheme right out the gate. Golden Psalter utterly wrecks the point of this table, I love the carnage wreckage caused by Golden Psalter’s wild non-mushroom mushroom trees.
Ruck crashes his ship on that rock. b/w vs. color image in Figure 20, Ruck is (as usual) basing his argument on the colors red & white — and doing a poor, failed job of that.

Hatsis’ Retitled/Truncated/Mis-dated article Roasting Foo an Exercise in Tilting at Windmill, All Authors Are Unprofitably Debating the Wrong Thing: “Was there a Secret Christian Amanita Cult?”
The .pdf Archive.org Hatsis citation I’m probably deleting from the above article: It’s a very interesting article to critique – for all the wrong reasons for my branching-message mushroom trees summary article:
There are multiple reasons not to cite that article in this branching-message mushroom trees summary article.
The title of the article is wrong at Hatsis’ later websites. It’s Roasting the Salamander, not Roasting Jan Irvin.
The new title of the article is TOO AMATEUR AND INSULTING TO PUBLISH/CITE. It’s a puerile childish personal attack, even the original title was too insulting.
The date of the article is wrong at Hatsis’ later websites. It’s 2013, not 2017.
I could INSTANTLY pound out a valuable article explaining everything wrong with the field and how that’s reflected in the Ruck / Irvin/ Hatsis thread of argumentation. [took hiatus June 2023 – Nov 2024 instead]
THAT is the article to cite Hatsis — NOT in my article on branching-message mushroom trees. Hatsis contributes nothing but … the exchange and debate between Ruck/ Irvin/ Hatsis , all discussion around Dancing Man image, is nothing but confusion and pulling … in the wrong paradigm of Amanita Primacy Fallacy.
The Ruck/ Irvin/ Hatsis trajectory of treatment of these topics is nothing but an exercise in Amanita Primacy Fallacy.
Note Nov 29 2024: the Secret Amanita paradigm; Amanita-driven entheogen scholarship.
An article would be very interesting, about that, a different article, “WHAT’S WRONG WITH THE PREVIOUS REPLACED QUASI-PARADIGM THAT RUINED THE FIELD OF ENTHEOGEN SCHOLARSHIP”
Hatsis’ article (& the surrounding publications by Irvin/ Ruck/ this field’s confused authors) is INTERESTING AND HISTORICALLY VALUABLE FOR ALL THE WRONG REASONS.

Roasting Entheogen Scholarship: How the Field of Entheogen Scholarship Was Malformed by the Amanita Primacy Fallacy
I recommend the article WHEN we are discussing the folly of the field of entheogen scholarship.
If I write an article about what WAS wrong with the OLD, REPLACED, Ptolemaic, non-theory, where Plainc fresco is mis-treated as defining the paradigm of the field’s explanatory fwk,
if my project in this article is to explain why Samo Figure 20 1998 is a total disaster,
if my article’s purpose is to explain why folk sub-science is garbled harmful confusion, and how the authors are confusing each other in their debate over Phrenology and Wm James’ scientific research in e.s.p., and 1904 theories of Phlogiston, -…
… then I recommend we must discuss the trajectory and revisions of Hatsis’ Roasting the Foo article, where he (eg) deleted the appendixes and says “see appendix”.
And where he changes the date from 2013 to 2017, and what that reveals about this would-be “historian”/”scholar” — and field overall.
The entire field is as dumb as Hatsis’ argumentation, and Panofsky’s.
Recognizing the {blade touches left limb} Motif in Canterbury Image f134
Another great show. Notable historical capture:
I capture on tape, figuring out that blades in this image touch left limb, at [1:23:32] in Ep240 of the Egodeath Mystery Show.

At 1:23:32, I FINALLY figured out the scythe guy Row 3 Left, solving that problem of why does this 1 figure, only, have both feet on the ground (ans: his left foot touches blade, negating {left foot on ground}.
[On playback just now, 25 minutes before this point in the recording, I was very impatiently waiting , while listening – GET TO THE DAMN SCYTHE GUY, RECORDING!! a traffic jam of jackpot decoding 18 things at once 😠 ⏳]
that the guy w/ both feet down scythe, blade is touching left foot, and that blades in this image are touching left limb. ATM, I’m only interested in finding the timestamp [1:23:32] where I get a clue about the problem “both his legs are on the ground, this is breaking my explanation so totally, I can’t even draw a white box on his feet!“

“Cognitive” posers!
I could give a F about materialistic physicalistic vs. brain-dead mysticism, a pox on both your houses that Chris Letheby falsely says are our two options.
The STUPID STANDOFF between the Psychedelic Scientists vs. Mystics.
Extremist IRRELEVANT physicalist neuroscience, Cognitive Neuro-Reductionism, it deletes the explanandum while PRETENDING to explain – while 40% bad trips continue in Griffiths’ optimal conditions.
Bunk MEQ, even bunker CEQ-POS questionnaire, FAD-plus Fatalistic Domino-Chain Determinism, Timmerman & Letheby’s “Metaphysical Beliefs Questionnaire” offers EVERY METAPHYSICS SYSTEM: all two of them: Physicalistic Possibilism, and Non-Physicalistic Possibilism.
aka “Naturalism”.
They think what’s important is materialism vs. foggy mysticism.
Neither of these worldviews is at all relevant to anything, eg control transformation in the ASC.
How the hell does Matthew Johnson pit “determinism” against “materialism”?
Vague & confused, and irrelevant & un-useful and unhelpful, just like his committee’s Yaldabaoth creation malformed monstrosity, the Challenging Experience Questionnaire – Psychometrics Operationalized Survey (CEQ-POS).

NO DISCUSSION OF PLAINCOURAULT, SAMO’S AWFUL FIGURE 20, NO MENTION OF PREVIOUS BUNK SCIENCE ARTICLES, NO MENTION OF “PREVIOUS” IDEAS
The Egodeath theory is 37 years old: started October 26, 1985. Or, 35 years old, starting from the coalescence breakthrough Jan 11, 1988 — though today I continue art decodings.
Dysfunctional Philosophy of Science. Psychedelic Science is junk folk heap of error, not a theory to be replaced.
There is no “old theory” (in Psychedelic Science & entheogen scholarship), unless you count (in entheogen scholarship) the terrible idea that entheogen scholarship uses: use Plaincourault fresco as if it is a paradigm defining the entire field.
(Panofsky rightly points out: “You guys are just revealing your ignorance of mushroom trees, stop treating Plaincourault as your idol talisman special unique God.“)
Hatsis: “The entire field of entheogen scholarship aka “the Secret Christian Amanita Cult theory” stands or falls with this one fresco” – a grain of truth.
It’s true that SOMETHING stands or falls with this one fresco: your guy’s (Wasson, Allegro, Ruck, Heinrich, Irvin, Rush, Hatsis, M. Hoffman, etc) AWFUL framing of the field is what stands or falls.
“Psychedelic Science & Entheogen Scholarship” = the CEQ-POS questionnaire & the Plaincourault fresco paradigm (ie, the Amanita Primacy Fallacy) –>🗑
30:00 – very good discussion of Panofsky re: msh trees.
Poor Agent Wasson tried to tell us about all the msh trees, but mean, biased obstructionists wouldn’t listen to him 😥 (the outrageously revisionist history per Ruck & Ott, according to Irvin)
40:00 – “. Matthew Johnson, how is “fatalistic determinism” against Physicalism?
What do you know about philosophy of time & spacetime physics, and freewill vs. determinism debates, in the ordinary state & altered state? while you advocate “physicalism”.
Junk physicalism vs. junk mysticism, “we’ve got both of your options covered, you are allowed to pick one” — I’ll pass, on both of your bunk, irrelevant, unhelpful, un-useful options.
Chris Letheby & Matthew Johnson; confused & confuseder.

1:05:00 – all our 13 available metaphysical positions in Timmerman / Letheby article “Pyshcedleics Alter Metaphyiscal Beliefs” aka “the Metaphyiscial Believfs Q” MBQ — fall into two groups: Physicalism Possibilism, or else Non-Physicalism Possibilism.
1:08:00 – 3 Massive Errors of John Lash: has no credibility:
1) “Psychomimetics imitate the mind.”
2) “Allegro infamously asserted that Jesus was the leader of a mushroom cult.”
3) “Mystery religions are good b/c they are matriarchal.” MITHRAISM.
In strongly favoring psilocybin, John Lash is far more right than entheogen scholars, who preposterously claim that the engine of mystery religions and mixed wine symposium is Amanita.
Lash is obviously correct, rejecting Wasson’s Amanita and advocating Psilocybin as the primary paradigmatic entheogen, not Amanita.
Hanegraaff’s 5th-grade fallacious argumentation: deriving word meaning from etymology roots.
How can 200 IQ scholars be 50 IQ? Easy, happens ALL THE TIME, in entheogen scholarship; it’s the norm. IQ level of top scholars when they discuss entheogens: 50.
Hanegraaff’s cosmos model explodes into fireball when you add stars to it.
A cosmos-scale FAIL.
b/c he tries to avoid heimarmene; he tries to buy into Late Antiquity’s marketing-dept. invention of freewill fog build on abusing and misusing the catalog of mythemes.
Hanegraaff has two kryptonites: the fact that rebirth delivers you into heimarmene/ eternalism; and “entheogens/ entheogenic practices in the wide sense” (aka non-drug psychedelics).
ie the fact that MEDITATION DOESN’T WORK, because meditation comes from psilocybin.
1:18:00 – Canterbury image f134 updates, things I only figured out 5 minutes ago after my “complete” interpretation Nov. 2020 2.5 years ago.
Talk through the woman holding a balance in row 2 middle, f134. She represents the stability of control in the OSC by relying on possibilism-thinking in that mode.
Why this is the most basic natural compelling elegant reading of the woman holding closed scroll, wrong hands, wrong foot on stable column base — I TOO DUMB TO FIGURE OUT UNTIL MARCH 31 2023, since puzzling over her since Nov. 2020.
1:22:00 – Things in image f134 that I failed to recognize & comprehend from Nov 2020 – early March 2023 (2.5 years of decoding effort).
1:24:00 – slight BAD NEWS: my f134 Proof article 2020 failed to present the phrase “psychedelic eternalism” other than as a formal name for my theory, synonym of “the Egodeath theory” — an elaborated descriptors theory name, NOT used as a principle/ abstract thing.
So lately, “what art depicts is psychedelic eternalism” (the phrase “psychedelic eternalism” there is definitely NOT used as the name of my theory, there; that is — alas — only a recent usage/development of not just phrases, but USES of the lexicon.
So I now use a more elevgant flexibly used phrase. psychedelic eternalism — lately i am reifying this thing that’s called “psychedelic eternalism”. It’s something we discover. It’s a thing that exists.
It’s not called the Theory of Psychedelic Cybernetic Eternalism. it’s the concept of “psychedelic eternalism”.
it’s a psilocybin state, experiential mode from psil that produces and psychedelic eternalism is the mental worldmodel that is produced by the experiential mode, and a worldmodel that comes from the mode.
A state of … An experience within a mode. psychedelic eternalism is an experience, a mode of experience, and a worldmodel, that provides a different formation of control.
literalist ordinary-state possibilism with autonomous control. 1) an experiential mode. 2) an experience, a thing you experience. 3) a mental worldmodel. 4) a theory name.
analogical psychedelic eternalism with dependent control <– a transitional construction, where I was moving away from ONLY using “psychedelic eternalism” as a theory name, to broadening the usage of the term “psychedelic eternalism”.
1:20:00 –
1:30:00 – I have become HIGHLY AVERSE TO USING OTHER PEOPLE’S TERMINOLOGY, B/C terms are always a trojan horse.
In fact, other people’s phrasings are always a trojan horse. They speak and write with unclean lips.
the focus on Plaincourault reveals your ingnorance, as Panofsky says.
Figure 20 from Samo is “inner periphery” for my article. Innerr Core & Outer Core = all my own terms/lexicon.
I would not even say “the classical psychedleics” – the enemy wins, by not saying “psilocybin”.
Their goal is to tear the spotlight away from psilocybin.
“classical psychedelics” is a ploy to take the spotlight off of psilocybin.
Never take the spotlight off of psilocybin, as happens when you say “the classic psychedelics.”
F the classic psychedelics, I *ONLY* care about Psil, since the alternative is delete psilocybin.
Keep the spotlight LOCKED ONTO psilocybin, and do not allow the trick of diluting and broadening the spotlight so it becomes a floodlight instead of a spotlight.
When you add Amanita, you delete 50% of psilocybin. “I worship the glory of God and BOB and spaghetti monster” –> 1/3 worship of God.
1:39:00 – Late Antiquity was a backlash against psychedelic eternalism, made decadent marketing promises: just as eternalism is superior to possibilism, our brand of religion reworks myth to fabricates bringing you from hated eternalism, to hyper-possibilism.
Hanegraaff: “I’m all in! where do I sign up?!” (starts deleting all the stars) .
freewill fog is an inversion strategy.
Early Antiquity is no-free-will eternalism.
Late Ant’y is the era of reconfiguring the inherited base.
Hermeticism (invented in Late Antiquity) was a confused and confusing move to tell the narrative that the mind moves from eternalism to possibilism.
Mithraism had the best relationship with demiurge: Helios.
Probably b/c they were military, practice integration of the inferior. Mithraism had a Ken Wilber-type healthy incorporation of the inferior, the overpowered.
1:43:00 – avoid meta-discussion.
In what way to discuss The Theory, in my article branching-message mushroom trees?
Explain specific motifs. Only.
I’m bringing a theory, through applying the theory.
This means this, this motif means YI which is unstable…
remove a certain kind of meta-discussion of theory and demo’s what a pure, applied expressions.
Only applied theory; avoid … DO present the applied theory, DO NOT present meta-discussion of the theory.
1:47:00 – when i see Amanita imagery, “this depicts psilocybin effects”, I’m not pretending that Amanita indicates ingesting musimol.
No one gives an F about muscimol; people couldn’t care less about muscimol yet I’m still supposed to play along pretending…. you all pretend Amanita gives psilocybin effects.
So I am just doing more consistently what you are all already doing.
They ACT LIKE Amanita is a classical psychedelic, so I’m just going to coherently do what you all are already, but incoherently doing.
AMANITA IMAGERY MEANS INGESTING PSILOCYBIN. WHICH IS EXACTLY HOW ALL OF YOU ACT ALREADY, SO SUCK IT.
eg Brown acts exactly like Amanita gives Psilocybin effects, then he objects when I assert that Amanita indicates ingesting Psilocybin.
I could write “Amanita imagery indicates Psilocybin effects.” <– clever nuanced wording.
You hypocrites are all acting this way ALREADY, so F it!
I’m moving forward with what all of you are already tantamount to doing anyway, I’m just more honest and forthright than all of you are.

“classical psychedelics” jump off a cliff!
i refuse to reduce attention to Psilocybin.
The only thing that’s subject to debate here is whether liberty cap psilocybin vs. cubensis psilocybin…. only divide the spotlight among different species of psilocybin.
Amanita Psilocybe is the only Amanita I allow in the spotlight.
Psilocybe Amanita is Amanita treated as if its active chemical is psilocybin.
One of the …. Amanita treated as a psilocybin-containing mushroom.

A state-based category error: people try to map lyrics, myth, and motifs to things in the ordinary state, but the referent is things in the altered state, especially THE psilocybin “effect”: transformation from possibilism to eternalism.
