  1. It’s fantastic that the world is opening up to Psilocybin.

I listened to most of the presentation, which overall is outstandingly relevant, but brings with it some red flags waving within.

What’s concerning is the level of altered-state experience that the therapists and instructors have.

Who in the organization of therapists/ instructors have the necessary understanding, experientially so, of the altered state, to then be able to train other therapists?

What’s also concerning are the people who come out of the woodwork to profess their knowledge in psychedelics/ entheogens, as related to religion, such as Prof. Jerry Brown, without ever mentioning the depth of research within the Egodeath theory.

That is a huge red flag, and not simply because I am biased, as much as because what is revealed from the Egodeath theory will go untaught and unshared, leading the way to a brand of New Age spirituality, a la Psilocybin, by wrapping itself around Psilocybin like a tourniquet, squeezing the life out of it.

Just exactly what will the therapist/ facilitator be saying to patients/ students, while they are in the altered state, to help enhance the success rate of ‘healing,’ and therefore lead to a profitable business?

I want to be so positive about it all, and I pray for the best. But I am also aware of the many sharks in the ocean.
