This page was used during the start of Egodeath Mystery Show in early 2021, as a live, no-editing, broadcast format.

The live broadcast format requires tons of planning ahead, without any post-production.

At some point, I moved away from that approach: I especially wanted to gain the ability to automatically remove silences/ gaps to tighten up the pacing.

I ended up not doing any planning, but constantly recording and then later listening to most of the recordings privately, then marking some recordings as suitable to be used in an episode of Egodeath Mystery Show.

It’s scary to think of doing a live broadcast format article like I used to – requires tons of planning ahead, and cannot guarantee quality.

In Feb. 2021, when did I think of the the Egodeath Mystery Show?

Briefly before that, I formed the concept of the Egodeath Show.

Shortly before that, around 2007 & 2016 & Jan. 2021, I only had the concept of occasionally recording 1-off voice pieces and then uploading such short recordings.

When I got the idea of a “show” instead of 1-off recordings, I had to go back afterwards and re-describe my early 2021 recordings that I uploaded, as “the Egodeath Mystery Show episode 1 – x”. and describe the recordings before that as “voice recording” or – transitional – “voice recording with header”.

  2. “Voice recording with header” (2021/01/24)
  3. “the Egodeath Show” (2021/01/28), afterwards numbered as Episode 1.
  4. “the Egodeath Mystery Show” [live broadcast format] (thought of on 2021/02/04; the first show to say “the Egodeath Mystery Show” by voice in Intro is song name “Egodeath Show 2021-02-05“, which is called afterwards, Episode 13)
  5. “the Egodeath Mystery Show” [non-live, post-produced format] [date] – examine idea development pages to find final use of show template (ie planning ahead).

Used “live broadcast” format aka preplanned “segments” from ~Ep1 (2021/01/28) to Ep72 (2021/09/28)

For how strong it looms in my memory, actually the present webpage approach, of planned segments and live-broadcast format with no post-processing, lasted only for 8 months!

Then 2022, 2023, 2024, I used opposite strategy: make recordings constantly, and afterwards, convert some of them – using post-production – to an episode.

Explanation figured out: a 5-month gap. My final episode using difficult “live broadcast” format was Ep72, Sep. 29, 2021. That live format lasted therefore from:

  1. I briefly read that you will have a section to criticize your audience. I am not a member of your audience andnwon’t be around to listen to your words.

    I have briefly listened to only a few minutes of your recordings and have chosen not to download any of them only because I don’t particularly like how the Egodeath Theory is being presented. And I told you so but that’s where it stops. .

    This new endeavor of yours is your baby and no one has the right to interfere. If I didn’t love the Egodeath Theory so much, I wouldn’t have said a thing. I hope you continue to enjoy your productions and that they bring you much happiness.

    In reality, once the Egodeath theory allowed me to make sense of religion, I had no more reason to continue following it. But I became addicted to the Egodeath Theory and was compelled to stay with it.

    And now it doesn’t have the same appeal. There’s something about pop culture that diminishes the foundation of transcendent knowledge.

    1. You seem uninterested in differentiating between joking and serious, or unable to so differentiate. You use my joking as if it’s serious content to criticize, an opportunity to misinterpret in order to put forth pseudo-critique. I may have joked about having a segment of the Egodeath Mystery Show that’s devoted to criticizing the audience — that seems like an amusing idea, as a joke idea.

      Your clearer writing the past couple years is commendable. “I don’t like how the Egodeath Theory is being presented… pop culture”. That’s too vague to possibly be of any help (not that I’m requesting help). I can only guess in the dark what you could possibly mean. Such input amounts to vague negative noises.

      It’s like I’m being used as an opportunity for a person to make negative-toned posts with no real content. Then I spend more time rewriting people’s posts to suss out what the person might possibly mean. But I have better things to do, and better ways to help people; that’s why I usually turned off comments in the Egodeath Yahoo Group.

      Like others in the Egodeath community, I’m essentially a critic of Pop Sike Cult, if not Pop Cult overall. I think I follow your point about pop culture… or maybe not; I’m resorting to guessing what you could possibly mean — and that is too hard of work that would be required from me, to labor to make sense out of unclear posts. I could write and talk about pop culture, but I don’t know what you mean by pop culture.

      I don’t simply affirm or reject pop culture. I have mixed feelings about Pop Sike Cult, and I have expressed various critiques, but I’m not entirely outspoken in my critiques. People have advised me to focus on positive statements about Transcendent Knowledge rather than critiquing others’ work; I do both.

      It’s good to relate the egodeath theory to pop sike cult, and it makes sense to have some type of overlap between the egodeath theory and pop sike cult. I have critiques of pop sike cult but I’m not going to spell out all types of such critiques.

      1. I don’t know where I was coming from with that negative statement. There was nothing solid to back up the criticism.. That’s the difference between egoic criticism and a critique in the purest form. Pure critiquing is backed up by integrity. I think I was being possessive of the Egodeath Theory….as if the Egodeath Theory could be possessed…
        And because I am old fashioned in many ways I felt that the Egodeath Theory was being exploited..as if I had a right to say that…And I wrote that negative comment without taking into consideration the enjoyment that you were experiencing with your creation. I’m sorry for doing that. I’ve taken time away from here which has been helpful in becoming re-adjusted. I hope you are well and enjoying life in all your endeavors.
