Pictograms – the language of caves – the universal language of humanity.

Pictograms in the modern world are a Godsent with their universal signs and directions necessary for functional living in a world of many languages.
And the same can be said for those who cannot read, and for those born with conditions that cause a blockage in receptive and expressive language expression.
Many medical conditions fall into that category, and for those afflicted, pictograms are a way to help them live in the world.
And of course, there is great honor in pictograms, as being the origin of humanity’s development of language.
And to that, can then be said that text, words, the written language, has the potential of developing into a virtuosity of written expression, from where it comes, through ‘poiesis’, the “blooming of the blossom, ” as philosopher Martin Heidegger states.
The path of poiesis may vary, leading into great precision of written expression, or into poetic flair. But none-the-less, poiesis itself, is a gift of life, as it gives birth to the living word.
